Welcome to the newest addition to the herd, this is Butchie, the son of Norma Jean. He was a 68-70 lb baby boy born about 1 week ago. He is a dark brown/ white mixture and is a British white/ milking shorthorn cross bred. Welcome to Butchie - he follows Fran around like a puppy dog.

Rowe Sports Complex, llc is looking for some part time workers. Minimum age is 16 years old. Concession and grounds/ parking help is needed. Weekends mostly, some weeknights for leagues.

Opie update !

Well he is a hoss - growing up and out, lol. He is probably drinking a couple gallons of milk a day right now and momma is trying to keep up with his demands, Lady and Lily are doing well also, they all are looking good and will be a welcome addition to the herd. All 3 of these will be staying with us with Opie being a future herd bull with Fernando. We should have 5 more calves this spring/ early summer. We are at 21 cows/ calves now. Nice thing about our fat cattle, you keep them feed, watered and sheltered and they appreciate your daily efforts, they are happy to see you with that feed bucket/ round bale of hay.

Shipping hats all over 24 states now, as we continue to grow with 17 modern/ new sewing heads running each week. We did over 38k embroidered hats/ flats last year and are considered by our hat suppliers to be a top five independent blank hat dealer in the tristate area. We were told by one well known hat supplier brand that we sold more hats , from 2020 - 2022, here in Ohio than any other independent blank hat dealer in 11 other upper midwestern states. Remember we do all work in house, have our own art dept and digitizer - both with over 25 years experience. We have been in business since 1996 and we are still growing well into our second generation of leadership.

Well over the Holiday weeks we added 3 more calves to our herd. Spotty had a heifer, Dec. 20, 2023 we named Lily Mae - 62 lbs at birth. Minnie had a had a heifer, Dec. 23, 2023 we named Lady Mae and she weighed 67 lbs and finally Buttercup had a big bull calf, at 73 lbs, we named Opie. All are doing well and the calves run their laps in the nursery pens everyday. They will get turned out onto the winter pasture with the rest of the herd at around 30 days of age. All the births went well and Fran got to help berth Lady Mae. What a great Christmas present for McCoppin Acres. We now have 21 cattle in the herd and 2 farms, Andy's and ours. Andy has 5 calves at his farm and they are doing well also, 3 British White heifers and 2 black/ white face - a heifer and a steer. The first picture is Opie within 8 hours of birth and the second picture is Lady Mae ( on right ) and Lily Mae ( on left ). I think they were plotting their escape, lol. You can see how good of " momas" we have, they keep their calves well fed and clean.

We sew more hats in a week ( average about 900 a week ) than our competition does in a year.

We do not accept off brand hats/ apparel for custom embroidery services, we prefer to get quality items in for you - one stop shop.

Well it is time we get this page fired back up again.

With the sale of the ballpark the sporting goods/ embroidery portion will remain in the same building but will also be under going some changes. We are working on a record breaking August sales month and looking at a strong fall season. Hat sales are through the roof along with screen printing and thanks to all those customers making it happen for us.

We are looking to do more direct to customer sales now and keep that in mind if you are looking for hats/ embroidered items in the near future. We are being told by Richardson we are one of the largest blank hat decorators for them in the tri-state area and beyond.
