is back with a compression tap straight out of our pinch headlock!
Use the pinch headlock to settle into modified kesa gatame but keep your lock — flare your forearm to the crown of your opponent’s head and touch their chin to their chest as you put all your weight on their diaphragm. You won’t make a lot of friends trying this one in training!

is back with a low risk / high reward throw — the Pinch Headlock. Make sure you get your foot between your opponent’s feet with this. As you pinch your elbows to your ribs take slow circular steps while constantly moving downward for a low risk takedown that lands you in modified kesa
Rashguard:
This we’re using our Snap Down to set up an Anaconda Choke 🐍 — this works great when we can connect our partner’s shoulder to the neck as we establish a figure 4 lock
Make sure you glue your chest to their shoulder before you roll — as you apply your squeeze, your chest will drive their shoulder through the other side of their neck
This we’re using our snap down to set up an arm in guillotine when we can’t move our opponent in the front headlock — if we can’t move our partner, we can move our feet!
Make sure your grip is locked under your partner’s armpit, not under the chest! SnapDown
is working right back out of our collar tie & wrist control snap down to a front headlock. Sometimes we can’t move our opponent, so we can do a knee exchange and set up a Darce choke! Try this next time you start from your feet or end up in the front headlock!
This we’re using the same snap down to the front headlock from last week to get to our partner’s back!!
The biggest detail for a good back take is your chest to back connection — without that connection, you’ll just pull your opponent on top of you! Kick that bottom hook past his leg as you melt into your back take. Don’t be a guard puller, attack and get on the back!
starts from the feet this cycle! Tonight we’re using a snap down from a collar tie with wrist control to get to our front headlock. Tune in the next few weeks for some attacks you can set up right from this front headlock!

For today’s we’re going to use a Russian Tie to set up our Jiu Jitsu Double Leg. One of the biggest details of this setup & shot is pivoting perpendicular to our opponent when we clear the collar tie and rotating our hips back to facing our opponent as we level change for our shot
Try this setup next time you start from your feet and your opponent collar ties you! Check out our last reel for a better detail of shooting a double leg!
is BACK with a Jiu Jitsu Double Leg designed to avoid the choke. You don’t have to be a guard puller to get the match to the ground without getting choked! And YES, you can pick your opponent up and bring them down hard as long as it’s not a slam onto their head or neck
When you’re shooting this double, make sure your pe*******on step gets deep and you drive your opponent backwards to get to a strong 7 / L position with your legs. Lock your hands directly under your opponent’s butt to maintain control of their hips
