FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Metropolitan Sports Committee AMA District 34 Announces Addition of New 65cc Class
The Metropolitan Sports Committee (MSC) AMA District 34 is pleased to announce the addition of a new youth class to the 2026 motocross season: 65cc (10–11).
This new class has been created to better support rider development and provide more competitive, age-appropriate racing opportunities within the 65cc division. With this addition, MSC will now offer three 65cc class structures:
* 65cc (7–9)
* 65cc (10–11)
* 65cc (7–11)
The 65cc (10–11) class will be a points-paying class, making riders eligible for championship standings and year-end awards at the MSC banquet.
Depending on event turnout, the 65cc (10–11) class may be run in combination with the 65cc (7–9) class, while still being scored separately for points and awards.
This addition reflects MSC’s continued commitment to growing youth participation and creating a structured progression for young riders as they advance through the sport.
