Renovation is well underway on the Quail course!! We're excited. What about you? In early March, we met with Trey Kemp Golf Design and reviewed the progress to date. We'll also add that the changes being made are looking very good and interesting. According to Kemp, he plans to seed (007 Bentgrass) the putting greens in April sometime and later in May or early June begin "sprigging" the tees, fairways, etc.
We continue having meetings with COM regarding all aspects of the Courses at Hogan Park. Let us know what you think. Also, please take a look at our website and subscribe.

Major changes are coming to Hogan Park Golf Course, including a new name The city of Midland hosted an event this week during which it detailed plans for the renovation of Hogan Park Golf Course — including its new name.

Well, folks, it's been frustrating providing you with new information regarding the golf course. It's even more frustrating trying to work with our city government or COM. We've politely requested invitations and waited patiently for various City Hall employees and council members to meet with us again and continue discussions about Hogan Park Golf Course. One such employee has recently said they would contact us, but then it's all silence. We've also recently reached out to two council members and have not even received a "thank you" for contacting them or an acknowledgement that our message was important to them. Again, crickets!
We'll continue patiently waiting a while longer before making our next post. We're also wanting to post a new article on our web page. If you have any comments or questions please let us know your thoughts. Thanks!

Brief update: we've been hearing a lot from our followers here and from our subscribers on the website. Mostly emails. We're currently waiting on some answers and closure from some recent discussions we're had with COM management. We had a great discussion on March 14th, 2025, with the City Manager and Asst. City Manager. They were both most interested in our progress and initiatives for Hogan Park Golf Course. So much so that they wrote down pages of notes during our meeting. Since that meeting, we haven't heard much from them. But it seems they are thinking about us and the various topics we suggested and discussed.

As soon as we learn more, we'll let everyone know. We'll also post a detailed new article on our website, recapping everything. Stay tuned. In the meantime, leave us a comment or question.
