West Texas Motocross Park

WTMX will be closed to the public, both members and non members alike beginning tomorrow and will remain closed until Saturday at 3:00 pm when we open the gates for the 4th and final round of the 2026 Summer Night Series.

There will NOT be open practice on Wednesday. This will give our volunteer crew time to prepare the track and facility for the races.

This Saturday, WTMX will be holding the final round of our 2026 Summer Night Series, sponsored by Family Powersports.

We are having technical difficulties with our online signup. As soon as the system is back up, online registration will be open.

Internet has been down at WTMX this week. Due to this, there was a malfunction of our watering system and we did not get our nighttime watering . We have the system back up and are getting as much water down as we can before tonight’s 5:00 practice.

The track will be watered but not plowed. We will still have an open practice for members and non members. Non members will NOT be charged the regular $30 practice fee. There will be no charge. You will be required to check in and sign a waiver to ride.

Thanks to all who came out for Saturday night’s race. It was a long night but a good night of racing.

WTMX will hold our monthly membership meeting Tuesday night at 6:30 at the track. All current members are encouraged to attend.

Jumps have been re faced, track is plowed. WTMX will be racing tomorrow night, unless we get more rain today. We will post here on Facebook if plans change.

Late night at WTMX! The guys are still out there, moving dirt, and trying to make the track rideable for Saturday night’s race. Stay tuned, tomorrow we will make a final decision and post that decision here on Facebook.

As of right now, we plan to have races Saturday night. It all depends on the weather! Forecasters predict rain this afternoon but forecasters don’t always get it right.

We will wait it out and make a definite decision tomorrow.

We got hit hard right after noon today. We will NOT be hosting the MX Factory school tomorrow and will NOT reopen for prepped track practice on Wednesday.

As of right now, we are in “Wait and see” mode about having Saturday’s scheduled night race.

If we don’t get anymore big rains and can get water off the track and parking lot, we will race. If we do have to cancel, we will post it here on Facebook and on Instagram and our website.

As of now, online signup is open. Since our online signups still have to pay at the track, signing up early just gets you a better gate pick and saves you time on Raceday. So if you plan on coming, go ahead and sign up now.
