Neto: 'At Chelsea I stepped out of my comfort zone and that's great'

Chelsea newcomer Pedro Neto shared his first impressions of life at his new club. The Portuguese winger admitted that he initially felt some anxiety before moving to such a giant, but has now fully adapted and enjoys every day with the team.

Of course, before moving to such a big club as Chelsea, there were certain concerns. But now I can say that I am completely happy with my decision. The atmosphere in the team is great, the guys welcomed me very warmly. Every day I learn something new and try to progress, - shared Neto.

The Portuguese also spoke about his role in the team and his relationship with the head coach.

I am always ready to carry out any task the coach gives me. If he decides not to put me in the starting lineup, I am, of course, upset, but I never challenge his choice. This gives me additional motivation to work even harder, - the footballer noted.

Neto stressed that competition at Chelsea is very high.

Some of the best players in the world are here. It forces me to get out of my comfort zone and constantly improve. I understand that I have made a big step forward by moving to Chelsea, but this is just the beginning. I want to achieve great success here, - said the Portuguese.
