Prelims can be shot on Friday or Saturday, but it must be completed by 1 PM on Saturday. We will have golf carts for rent, ammo for sale, and lunch will be provided, but you will be able to purchase additional meals.

❗UPDATE ON ROUTES TO MSA SHOTGUN RANGE FOR WTX BUCKLE CHAMPIONSHIP❗

TxDot plans to close Highway 1788 on Friday at 9:00 PM and reopen it on Saturday at 1:00 PM. If you're aiming to compete in HAA for all 12-gauge events, we recommend participating in the Prelim on Friday before 6:00 PM. This is crucial as changes will take place on Saturday, impacting the second half of the Main event on Sunday.

If you're looking to maximize your shooting opportunities in a single day, consider shooting on either Friday or Sunday. We will extend the "card turn-in time" to 4:30 PM on Sunday. For those interested in touring West Texas and shooting on Saturday, please refer to the alternate routes provided by TxDOT below.

𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗠𝗶𝗱𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱:
Hwy 349 to FM 1787, FM 1787 to FM 1788. Turn right on CR 160, right on CR 1270, and left on CR 170.

𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗢𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮:
Loop 338 to FM 3503 (Dora Roberts Rd). FM 3503 will be a dead-end to FM 1788. Turn left, then turn right on CR 160, right on CR 1270, and left on CR 170.
