There are many opportunities to cheer for your 14U Midland Hornets in September! Please note that our Home Games will be throughout mid-Michigan this month!

Unexpected circumstances away from the rink should not prevent a young athlete from continuing to play the game she loves.

The Assist Grant for Girls Hockey Players provides hardship assistance to families of girls hockey players across Michigan who are facing sudden or significant financial challenges.

Made possible through a partnership between the Suburban Hockey Foundation, the NHL Foundation U.S. and Megan Keller, the grant assists families experiencing circumstances such as a major accident, serious illness, the death of an immediate family member, job loss or another unforeseen hardship.

Applications will be accepted through September 11, 2026, and recipients will be notified by October 2.

The Suburban Hockey Foundation’s Assist Grant provides financial assistance to hockey families facing difficult circumstances, including the loss of a family member, a major accident, acute illness, job loss or other unforeseen hardships.

Applications for the 2026–27 season are now open and will be accepted through September 11, 2026. Grant recipients will be notified by October 16, 2026.

Women's Hockey Day!!! Sept. 26th!
We are proud to announce a fun day showcasing Women's Hockey at the Dow Event Center!
* 12:15 - We will host the Oakland Junior Grizzlies for what we anticipate to be a great matchup game!
* 2:30 PM - The inaugural SVSU Women's Team will take on Hope College.
* 7:05 PM - Saginaw Spirit vs Windsor Spitfire OHL game. The 10U Hornets will scrimmage during the 1st intermission!
$17 for the FULL day! 3 games!
