Curious about hockey but not sure where to start? This is the perfect chance! The Amateur Hockey League is hosting Try Hockey for Free on March 7, and we’d love to see some new faces on the ice.

📍 Please arrive by 11:00 AM to allow time for event registration and to get the kids geared up.

This free event gives kids the opportunity to try hockey in a fun, low-pressure environment and see if it’s a sport they want to play. No experience needed, just come ready to have fun!

All ice events, including public skate and drop-in are cancelled for Monday, December 29th. Mechanics are currently working on repairs to the ice plant. Please watch for future updates.

All turf activities are still going on as scheduled.

Due to a power outage, the Midland Civic Arena will be closed Saturday, December 27th and Sunday, December 28th.

You're invited to join us at the Midland Civic Arena on Sunday, December 14th for a holiday ice show event!

Watch local skaters perform to fun and inspiring holiday music from 3:30-4:50 p.m. Admission is a non-perishable food pantry item. (Donations to support MFSC also welcome!)

Stay for Skate with Santa from 5:00-5:50 p.m. Enjoy a public skate session featuring a special guest all the way from the north pole. Admission is $5, and skate rental is available for $3.
