With a first period fall, Halle Spears has climbed the last mountain left and is your 2026 MHSAA STATE CHAMPION!!!

Eamon Murray wins all 3 matches this morning to claim 3rd place and win his 60th match of the season. A great finale to an amazing Chemic Career.

Halle will wrestle for a state title at 3:30 at ford field.

Halle wins 2-1 and will wrestle in the finals tomorrow afternoon.

Update after morning session:

Halle is in the Semifinals that begin about 6:45. She will be the first match of the semis.

Eamon dropped his quarterfinal but came back to win his blood match 7-0 and will place top 8. He wrestles again tomorrow.

1st round Update:

Halle wins by tech

Both on to the quarterfinals beginning around 3:15.

The preparations are done. Time to claim the prize.

State finals 2026 getting underway here soon for Halle and Eamon.

Halle Spears makes quick work of the Girl’s District field to advance to the regional.

Abby Shellnut won a couple matches but fell one match short of qualification. Gabby Robinson also competed but fell short of placement. Great job girls.

3 Chemics advance to the regional tournament next week worth top 4 finishes at districts.
