After a beautiful opening ceremony this morning, the 2026 Dow Championship is officially underway!

Thank you to the Midland Honor Guard, the LPGA, Lux Women’s Choir, First Tee - Eastern Michigan, and Coffee Chaos for being part of today’s ceremony.

High fives for the Wednesday Pro-Am 👏 thank you to today’s players for making this an unforgettable day out on the course, benefiting Blood Cancer United.

This morning at Currie Municipal Golf Course, Generation Next Project hosted a clinic in partnership with First Tee - Eastern Michigan.

Generation Next Project uses golf as a platform for hands-on learning and community impact, helping young people navigate pressure and uncertainty both on and off the course. We are grateful to partner with these organizations during tournament week!

A star-studded lineup for one of the afternoon pro-am groups on Wednesday: Detroit Lions alum Calvin Johnson, Vancouver Goldeneyes forward Anna Segedi, Detroit Red Wings legend Darren McCarty, and Olympic bronze medalist Ashley Farquharson.
