Team Rutkowski Outdoors is excited to see the great work our friends Tyler & Brandon at B & T Logging are doing! They select-cut Dakota’s woods three years ago, and we’re thrilled to see the great hardwood regeneration this fall!

We highly recommend Tyler and Brandon to our followers, friends, and fellow landowners for all your forestry management, timber harvesting, and habitat management needs. Great work, guys! 🌳🇺🇸

You might notice a new sponsor on the show! Thanks to Tyler, Brandon, and the crew at B&T Logging for supporting Michigan Out of Doors. If you're looking for more information about B & T Logging, be sure to check out their page or website!

🦌 A weekend to remember for Team Rutkowski Outdoors!

Dakota and his son Dean shared a special moment in the woods this weekend as Dakota successfully harvested a doe. 🏹💚

A quick glimpse of the shot, a glowing green nock, and a memory they’ll never forget.

🦌❤️ A hunt they’ll never forget!
Dakota and his son Dean took their first successful deer together in Deckerville, Michigan! From pizza 🍕, puzzles 🧩, and cars 🚗 to watching Toy Story 5 in the hunting tent, this father-son adventure was full of fun and memories.

Dakota made a great shot on a doe, and Dean’s reactions are priceless! 🦌

Memorial Day means so much to us and to our country as we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We are forever grateful for those heroes and their families.

We had an amazing weekend making memories outdoors and spending time with family! Dan and Dakota had a great Saturday morning chasing bass, while Dean and Dalton enjoyed time out at Uncle Bruce’s farm. The boys were back at it Sunday afternoon fishing again, and we all enjoyed family time at the fish fry — and even had some fun shooting the BB gun too!

What a fun-filled weekend with family, fishing, and the outdoors. We hope everyone had a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend! 🎣🇺🇸

Team members Dan and Dakota are proud to pass the fishing tradition down to the next generation. Every year gets more and more fun, and we can’t wait to have a boy or two out in the river with us next year! 🇺🇸🐟

Big moment for Team Rutkowski Outdoors! 🐻🔥

Recently, team members Dan and Dakota made the trip to pick up Dan’s 2025 Canadian Black Bear mount from the taxidermist—and wow, it did NOT disappoint!

The detail, the craftsmanship, and the memories behind it… this one means a lot. There’s nothing like seeing a successful hunt come full circle and preserved the right way.

Now it’s proudly displayed in the trophy room, and it looks absolutely incredible. A true reminder of the adventure, hard work, and respect for the outdoors that goes into every hunt.

Dakota’s boys have been staying busy shooting their BB guns, practicing with their Bear youth bows, and helping Dakota get ready for Michigan turkey season! 🦃🔥

It’s all coming together! 👊
