The 2026 MSP Class E Northern National in Rockford (MI) has concluded...and it was an awesome event! We had great games throughout the tournament and championship caliber performances from numerous players with the bat and with the glove. In the end, it was Michigan's own ALL IN that captured the national championship.

The Class E Michigan West State Champions, FROZEN ROPES, made a fine showing and continued with top-notch play entering the tournament. FROZEN ROPES was one of the top defensive teams in the tournament, allowing only 37 runs to their opponents in five games. However, their final two losses were by a combined three runs, and they finished in third place.

Our friends from Wisconsin, MAKE A WAG MUTTS, came to Michigan and were a force to reckon with. Forced to battle through the losers' bracket, this team did just that and then some. MAKE A WAG NUTS scored 107 runs during their tournament run, scoring more than any other team. In the championship game, they defeated ALL IN to force an "if" game. Despite being down by double digits early, they battled back in the "if" but ultimately were defeated 14-13. This team represented themselves and their state in the best possible manner on and off the field. It was great having them in Michigan.

After all was said and done, it was Michigan's own, ALL IN, that won the national championship! They, too, were one of the better defensive teams in the tournament but also seemed to come up with a big play and/or hit when it mattered, including two wins by one run leading up to the championship games. The Michigan Power Series champions used a total team effort to battle all weekend and won the tournament with an outstanding defensive play tagging out a runner going to the third base. For a team that struggled during state championship play, ALL IN came together at the right time and claimed a national championship. The tournament's Most Valuable Player was manager, Rob Meade. Congratulations to ALL IN...the 2026 USA Softball Northern National Class E Champions!
