🥎🚨 ONE WEEK AWAY! POP-UP PITCHING CLINIC!

📅 SUNDAY, OCTOBER 18
⏰ 1:00–2:15 PM
📍 Ironbridge Softball
11531 Hull Street Road, Midlothian, VA 23112

PITCHING WITH PURPOSE:
-Building Strong Foundations with Coach Kelly
-Every great pitcher starts with strong fundamentals!

Ironbridge Softball is excited to offer a pop-up pitching clinic designed for new and developing 10U pitchers who want to learn proper mechanics, build good habits, and gain confidence in the pitching circle.

Learning to pitch takes practice, but knowing how to practice is just as important!

What We'll Focus On:

🥎 Proper Fundamentals — Grip, arm motion, balance, footwork, and body mechanics.

🥎 Building Good Habits — Developing the foundation for improved speed, accuracy, and consistency.

🥎 At-Home Drills — Simple, effective drills that can be practiced at home, including indoor drills for rainy days and winter months.

🥎 Parent Education — Parents are encouraged to observe and learn proper pitching mechanics so they can reinforce good habits and support their pitcher's development at home.

Meet Coach Kelly!

A former Virginia Wesleyan University pitcher, 3x All-ODAC selection and NFCA All-Region selection, Kelly brings more than 24 years of pitching instruction experience. She has worked with pitchers from their very first lessons through the collegiate level, including national champions.

🥎 New and developing 10U pitchers
🥎 11-inch softballs
💲 $65 per pitcher
🚨 LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE!

Our goal: Every pitcher leaves with a better understanding of the fundamentals, and every parent leaves knowing how to reinforce them at home.

Strong foundations build confident pitchers. Let's start them off right! ❤️🥎

Happy National Coaches Day to ALL of the incredible coaches throughout our Ironbridge Softball organization!

Today we simply want to say THANK YOU.

Thank you for the hours you spend on the fields and in the cages. Thank you for the practices you plan, the games you prepare for, the lessons you teach, the encouragement you give, and all the work behind the scenes that most people never see.

But most importantly, thank you for investing in our girls.

At Ironbridge, coaching has always been about more than softball. It’s about developing confident young women. It’s about teaching accountability, toughness, teamwork, leadership, and how to respond when things don’t go your way. It’s about building relationships and creating memories that our athletes will carry with them long after their playing days are over.

We are incredibly thankful for every head coach, assistant coach, instructor, and volunteer who chooses to pour into our athletes and represent Ironbridge Softball.

You are a huge part of what makes this organization special and what makes ONE FAMILY more than just something we say.

To all of our Ironbridge Softball coaches — THANK YOU for your time, your sacrifice, your leadership, and most of all, for believing in our girls.

Good luck to ALL of our Ironbridge teams competing this weekend!

Play hard.
Have fun.
Compete with confidence.
And most importantly, PLAY AS ONE.

Support your teammates, encourage each other, and represent Ironbridge with pride on and off the field.

Let’s have a great weekend of softball! Go IB!

09/22/2026

Winning at IB ‼️

It’s one thing to talk about being a family.

It’s one thing to talk about supporting one another, praying for one another, encouraging one another, and showing up for one another.

It’s another thing entirely to put it all on display.

These pictures from last weekend say so much about what we’re building at Ironbridge.

Several of our 8U, 10U, and 12U teams were all at the same location, and without being asked, they were living out the core values that we talk about every day.

Sisterhood. Support. Faith. Family.

Our teams may compete against different opponents, play different games, and experience plenty of wins and losses on the field. But when our girls are standing together, cheering for each other, praying for each other, encouraging each other, and celebrating each other, that’s what we call winning at IB.

Because wins and losses are part of the game.

But winning consistently in the areas that matter most is what we build our standards on.

That’s the Ironbridge way.

“The greatest victories aren’t always found on the scoreboard. Sometimes, winning is simply standing together, lifting each other up, and becoming the kind of family that makes everyone around us better.”

09/21/2026

Championship level weekends for our 8U Eagles and 16U Honea teams!

Great job to all our athletes and coaches!!
