We truly have an incredible group of humans in our program, and we are always excited to share what they are up to outside of soccer.
This summer, Ally Klotz (‘26), has been working very hard off the field. She is a co-founder of a new organization in the Richmond area — the Daya Project Community and Refugee Advocacy.
The Daya Project focuses on advocacy for immigrants and Americans with disabilities, those living below the poverty line, and at-risk communities in the Richmond area.
Ally has formed a special connection with Sudanese refugees in the area and has even offered soccer clinics for the refugee children. Rising sophomore, Sara Liones, has volunteered in coaching the soccer clinics as well!
We are so proud of the impact our student-athletes continue to make in the world around them. Soccer is more than just a game — it’s a way to bring people together from different experiences, backgrounds, and lifestyles. Keep up the meaningful work Ally and Sara!

When we tell families that academics are the number one priority, we aren’t saying it to make them feel good.
This spring, our team has achieved a 3.77 GPA with six players achieving a 4.0. Our women’s soccer student-athletes are held to the highest of standards in the classroom because, one day, soccer will end.
Congrats to our group on the hard work this semester. Keep breaking the stigmas about what it means to be a JUCO athlete! ⚽️🤓📚

This evening we celebrated the 2025-2026 year with the RBC Athletics Awards! The awards recognize student-athletes, teams, coaches, and staff for their accomplishments on and off the field.
Sophomores Jenna Autry and Lilli Brown received the Statesmen Scholar Athlete Award for maintaining a 3.5 cumulative GPA in 30+ credits at RBC.
Lilli Brown received the Coach’s Award for her time, effort, and passion towards our program. She does everything right because it’s the right thing to do, not for self interest or her ego. She puts her teammates and the team’s success first. Lilli’s work ethic, humility, and passion push everyone around her to work harder and be better on and off the field.
Jenna Autry received the MVP Award for her impactful play on the field and the culture she has helped us build. We can count on one hand how many times she was subbed off the field during her two years, however her leadership has been immeasurable. Jenna was a commanding presence in our midfield and shouldered the weight of being our loudest voice and leader day in and day out.
While there are only two individual awards, all 16 of our student-athletes contributed to our success. The hard work, long days, and time commitment from each one of you does not go unnoticed. Thank you ALL for making our program so special!

Coach and a few players are helping out at the DPL East Richmond event this weekend! We always appreciate opportunities to give back to the game, especially a league with a mission to develop female players!
