💙 Transformation Spotlight 💙
Kara joined Burn with no expectations, just a desire to feel like herself again. Through consistency and community, she found the confidence she thought she’d lost. Read her story below and let’s give her two 👏 !!
“I joined Burn in August 2024 with no expectations. Honestly, I didn’t love working out and wasn’t even sure what I was looking for—I just knew I needed to do something for me.
Two things really pushed me to start this journey.
The first was working from home. It was something new for me, and it slowly started to affect my health in ways I didn’t expect. I felt weaker, less energized, and just not myself. I tried doing workouts at home and joined different challenges, but I could never stay consistent.
The second was losing my dad last year. After that, everything changed. Whatever motivation I had completely disappeared. I stopped caring about what I ate, stopped moving my body, and before I knew it, I was slipping into really unhealthy habits.
At some point, I realized I needed something to pull me out of that space—something to get me out of the house and around positive, supportive people. That’s when I found Burn. I did a little research, took a leap, and signed up.
What I didn’t know then was that it would become one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself.
I haven’t hit every goal yet, but I show up. Every day. Even when I travel. And that alone feels like a huge win.
Burn has given me a new outlook on what it means to be healthy. It’s given me friends I didn’t know I needed—people who push me, cheer me on, and remind me I’m stronger than I think. Most importantly, it’s given me a confidence I thought I’d lost.”
