💪 BIG HITTER CORI 💪

Cori earned the MVP chain for game 3 with a fly ball single to RF to start off our 2nd inning. Cori went on to score after running the bases well and a fielders choice by Kam.

We are proud of Cori for stepping up to the plate with a hitter’s mentality and finding a way on base!

We lost 12-3 to a tough older team but as always, we learned alllll the lessons in the process!

🔒 PITCHER’S CIRCLE ON LOCKDOWN 🔒

Vivien fought for every strike and every out and kept her team in the game against a tough older team, allowing only 2 runs and striking out one. She also played her position and made 3 outs on defense.

We took a tough loss 2-0 but we’re back at it at 2:15 for bracket play!!

Brae is up to bat, we are down 6-3, 2 outs. She hits a rocket ground ball to left to score two runs. Then scores the tying run after another big base hit by Cori.

❤️🥎Happy National Coaches Day to our Epic Coaches! 🥎❤️

Darren, Josh & Tyler — we hope you know just how much you are appreciated! You don’t just teach our 9U girls how to throw, hit, field and compete… you teach them about confidence, teamwork, resilience, hard work and having heart.

You pour your time and energy into these girls, showing up weekend after weekend, teaching the tough lessons, celebrating the big wins, encouraging them through the struggles, and always pushing them to be just a little better than they were yesterday.

These girls may not realize it all right now, but they are learning so much more than softball. They’re learning what it means to work hard, support their teammates, overcome challenges and never give up. And that’s because of YOU. 🥎💪

Thank you for investing in our girls, believing in them, challenging them, and loving this team right alongside them. We are so lucky to have Darren, Josh & Tyler leading our Epic girls!

🩷 CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY! 🩷

Our girls went 1-0-1 yesterday and are set to hit the field today for bracket play and CHAMPIONSHIP SUNDAY!

Highlights from yesterday:

🩷 Team OBP of .741
🩷 15 runs scored
🩷 10 stolen bases
🩷 Our pitchers had 10 Ks & gave up 1 hit
🩷 0 errors on defense ❌

We hope to build upon these successes and learn from our opportunities from yesterday! Getting better every day is our goal!

Today, we honor those who have bravely battled breast cancer and continue to hope and pray for a cure!

Nothing better than seeing the Epic family show up for each other! 🥎🔥 One of our older Epic teams came out to support and cheer on the younger girls before they took the field today! 🙌🏼 These girls may be on different teams, but they’re all part of the same Epic family. 💪🏼We love seeing our older girls lead by example, encourage the next generation, and remind them that they’ve always got a whole team behind them! Now let’s go, girls—time to PLAY BALL! 🥎🔥♥️
