Discovering the Submerged Prehistory of the Alpena-Amberley Ridge in Central Lake Huron: NOAA Ocean Exploration This expedition will include mapping the Alpena-Amberley Ridge within Lake Huron to identify potential archaeological or paleoenvironmental sites for further investigation with a remotely operated vehicle and divers in order to create a virtual reality reconstruction of the area when it was dryland....

Heat Relief Fun Dive

I hope the summer has been treating you well and everyone is healthy. Are you looking for some relief from the heat or just want to get your gills wet? We are planning on going to White Star Quarry this Saturday afternoon, 8/29. We will try to leave the shop between 1 and 2 pm. Water temps at the surface have to be close to 80 degrees and probably mid 60s at the bottom. Perfect temp for a 5 mm and probably okay in a 3 mm with a hood. If you would like to come along please let us know. You can either call the dive shop or text Tyler or Betsy. Need gear or air fills? Call us on Friday or come by the shop Saturday morning. Hope to see you diving!
