Meet the horse YOU helped win for GAIT- Breeze of Lexlin. Breeze is a 6 yr old mare (girl) and was one of two horses offered that has been trained under saddle. We are so happy to be bringing her home and we can't wait to meet her in person! For those of you who have been anxious to learn more about our new horse, here is her bio on Lexlin's site:

"Breeze is a beautiful mare that loves to work. She has been trained under saddle by Mike Branch of Flying B Horsemanship and was used for a couple of years in the equine leadership retreat “Leading by the Reins.” While in this program she was ridden and ground worked by inexperienced riders and did so successfully. She has had quite a bit of trail and arena work. She stands well for vetting and grooming. She does like to try to pull away while being trimmed and tends to be a little head shy. She is a flashy mare and doesn’t tend to be lazy; she is easy to move forward and work."

Join us for a Tri-Night this Thursday at 6 pm! Our guest speaker for the evening is Johnny Little. Johnny is a highly experience and dedicated triathlete. Please join us for this free event and learn about what it takes to complete, or compete in a triathlon.

Whether you are dreaming of crossing the finish line of your first triathlon or hearing the words "You are an IRONMAN", come join us for an 'Introduction to Triathlon", teaching you the basics of training for and competing in a triathlon. The discussion will take place this Thursday evening, May 4th at 6:00 pm followed by 30 minutes of Q&A at Action Bikes and Outdoor.

I am feeling compelled to accept this challenge. Anyone else interested? Might be fun to top it off with a road trip.

A little shout out to MMM followers. I have been consumed with a new job, but have decided to go to a happy place and offer to help anyone to improve their swimming. DV has their Tues Thurs Lap swim 4:30-6pm. Free to district residents. Others need to contact DVACE and get a "Blue Card"--essentially pre-pay $3/session.

I have decided that I am going to do my best to cut the work day short on this Thursday, thats tomorrow, and head to the pool. I sure miss the days of commandeering a couple of lanes and helping whoever to reach their goals.
