Eastern Pike Youth Soccer Club

Congratulations to our recent 2026 high school graduates that have moved-in and begun their college athletic careers over the past couple weeks!

Reagan Decker and Krystina Orby moved to their dorms on August 9, and kicked off their college days. Krystina is playing D2 soccer in the PSAC for Lock Haven University. Despite offers to play college soccer, Reagan chose to play college football as a Kicker with an athletic scholarship to attend Bloomsburg University competing in the PSAC.

Keegan Samson moved in at Centenary University on August 16 to get his days started with the Cyclones playing D3 soccer in the AEC.

On August 17, Sasha Sheehan made the trip up to Boston to join the Lesley University Lynx Women’s Soccer team, playing in the D3 NAC.

Best of luck to our new college athletes, along with all those returning to play at the collegiate or club level!

We would like to congratulate and thank Coach Jessica Decker for being selected to participate in Gotham FC’s Keep Her in the Game Program!

Keep Her in the Game, presented by Dove, tackles the high rates at which girls drop out of sports by age 14. The program is designed to empower the trusted adults in girls’ lives – their coaches and parents – with research-backed training to help girls develop leadership skills, find their voices and stay committed to the sport. Keep Her in the Game additionally delivers moments of joy and connection for the girls themselves through unique access to Gotham FC players and experiences at Sports Illustrated Stadium.

Coach Jess has been coaching for Eastern Pike SC for 12 years, is the Secretary of the Board of Directors, and helps run the Recreation program and a LOT of behind the scenes work—if you email the club late in July (or mid-August) begging to get your child on a Rec team, it’s Coach Jess that responds and moves teams and uniforms around to make sure every child gets a chance to play. Jessica holds a U.S. Soccer “D” License amongst numerous coaching certificates and diplomas from United Soccer Coaches. Jessica is also the President of the Delaware Valley School District Board of Directors.

Congratulations to friend of the club and local resident, Coach Bravo! Coach Bravo has worked with our players and coaches over the years through a partnership with Cedar Stars Academy Hudson Valley.

Welcome, Ismael Bravo!

The Hudson Valley Youth Soccer League is excited to welcome Ismael Bravo as our new HVYSL Programs Administrator!

Ismael brings a wealth of experience in youth soccer, coaching, education, and program development. He currently serves as Program Director & Academy Coach with Cedar Stars Academy Hudson Valley and is involved in Complex Operations at Capelli Sport Complex. He holds a U.S. Soccer National C License, a Bachelor’s degree in History, and a Master’s degree in Education.

His coaching experience spans the youth, high school, and collegiate levels, including Arlington High School, ENYYSA ODP, and currently SUNY New Paltz. Ismael has also been recognized by EDP Soccer as one of its “Young Promising Coaches – 30 Under 30.”

We are thrilled to have Ismael joining the HVYSL team and look forward to his experience, energy, and ideas helping us expand and strengthen the programs and opportunities we provide to our players, coaches, and clubs.

Get prepared for your high school preseason! This is an opportunity to be ready for tryouts, be sharp for preseason, and be a better overall player for the fall season.

The High School Pre-Season Clinic will be run by Coach Bailey Caller. Coach Caller is a varsity soccer coach, former collegiate soccer player, EPYSC’s Director of Goalkeeper Development, a private trainer, and brings with him a ton of experience and lengthy soccer resume:

-Mansfield Town FC Academy
- Semi-Pro Contract at 16 years old
- Extensive experience in professional and semi-professional environments
- Professional Coach for Mansfield Town FC Youth Development Squads
- 3 x Conference Winner at Collegiate Level
- 2 x NJCAA National Tournament Appearances
- National Goalkeeper Diploma
- FA Level 1 Licensed
- USSF D License

The clinic will be held in Matamoras, PA.
