Su Heart and Hustle Award Sanctioned League Recipient:
Our first athlete is from our sanctioned league and this athlete has such a way of bringing joy and warmth into every single space she enters. Her smile is constant, but it’s her actions that truly show who she is. She works hard every day in practice and competes with both determination and humility.
One of the most memorable examples of her character happens at almost every competition. No matter how excited she is about her own accomplishments, she will set her trophy down just to clap, cheer, and smile for the athletes around her. It’s such a simple moment, but such a powerful reminder that gymnastics is about more than scores and awards… it’s about respect, kindness, and connection.
She celebrates others wholeheartedly (and loudly!), gives her best effort every single day, and creates an environment where teammates feel supported, encouraged, and loved. Her kindness, positivity, and steady hustle make her such an inspiring part of this team.
This year’s Su Heart and Hustle Award goes to…

Su Heart and Hustle Award Non-Sanctioned League Recipient:
This athlete this season showed us that leadership is not always the loudest voice in the room. Sometimes, leadership looks like kindness. It looks like making sure no one feels left out. It looks like reminding teammates to encourage one another, support one another, and treat each other with respect.
This athlete naturally stepped into that role from the moment she joined our team. She carries herself with such a caring and “motherly” presence, always looking out for the people around her and helping create a positive environment for everyone in the gym.
Gymnastics has not always come easily for her, but what makes her so special is the way she approaches every challenge. She shows up ready to work, embraces the process, and finds joy in the small improvements that come from consistency and effort. Instead of getting discouraged, she leans into the hard days and continues pushing forward.
Behind the scenes, there is also an incredible story of sacrifice and support. Her mom works tirelessly, including coaching here with us, to give her every opportunity possible. And it is clear that this athlete has learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and compassion through that example.
Her determination, kindness, and commitment to both her teammates and her own growth truly represent the meaning of heart and hustle.

With a perfect 10.0 on her Bronze bar routine, the Girl On Fire Award goes to Miss Kailyn! 🔥
What makes this even more special is that during a private lesson just two days before the meet, while listening to her favorite songs (one of them being Girl On Fire by Alicia Keys), Kailyn looked at her coach and said, “my goal for this meet is a 10.” and in that moment, she meant every word of it.
She didn’t just say it… she believed it, she worked for it, and she went out and made it happen. That kind of confidence, focus, and determination is so powerful. Kailyn, you truly were on fire, and we are so, so proud of you! 🔥
