Player Spotlight: Gillian Gurney

Gillian has been playing outside midfield with CSA for the last 3 years. When Gillian is not working hard on the soccer field, she is putting in extra credit at Saint Ursula Academy carrying a 4.32/4.0 GPA.

Gillian will graduate this spring and head to Centre College in Kentucky where she will continue playing soccer and studying hard!

Player Spotlight: Hanna Merritt
Position - Defender

Cincinnati Soccer Alliance is proud to announce Hanna Merritt will be continuing her soccer career at University of Dayton.

Hanna began playing club soccer with at MTSC at age 8, then continuing with CSA when clubs merged to form Cincinnati Soccer Alliance. Hanna was determined at an early age to play D1 soccer and would not stop pushing herself until she reached her goal. She put in extra hours in the back yard practicing before and after club training.

Hanna is a hardworking, focused and determined person, not only athletically, but academically as well. Hanna attends St. Ursula Academy, graduating this year with a 4.0. Hanna’s high school sport accomplishments include Second Team All-GGCL (2015), GGCL All Academic Team (2012-15), played AAU basketball for Cincy Swish (2008-12), and as a soccer center and outside defender – 1 goal and 4 assists (2015); 3 assists (2014).
