A lot of people think of yoga as something you do on a mat.
The poses. The breathing. The movement. The quiet.
And yes, that's all part of it.
But there's an entire philosophy behind yoga that has very little to do with how well you can hold a pose.
It's about how you treat people. How you handle disappointment. How you respond when life gets difficult. How you stay true to what matters, even when it's inconvenient.
And none of that requires a mat.
You can spend years learning the physical practice and still find yourself learning the deeper lessons in the middle of an ordinary Thursday.
That's one of the things that makes yoga so meaningful.
It doesn't have to end when the session does.
