New Saturday class times at JCCSF starting in December! Intermediate at 10:30am basic at 12:30pm. Uninterrupted teaching schedule over the holidays. Hope to see you there!
Announcement: After two years of pandemic programming the JCC SF is back to the normal schedule! Starting in April (now! ) I’ll be teaching a 90 minute advanced yoga class at 10a, and a 90 minute basic class at 12p on Saturdays. The advanced class is sweaty and active; the basics class is slower and more massage-like with foam roller and other props. I hope to see you there! 🤸🏻🧘🏻♀️🤸🏻

What a year! Very excited to be fully vaccinated and coming back to teaching yoga in person in April. Saturday noon class is back at the JCC SF mixed level in Kanbar hall starting tomorrow. Members will need to sign up ahead of class online.
I'll be back teaching at Mill Valley Fitness Center on Mondays and Wednesdays a noon starting this week as well. I've missed my students so much. Can't wait to reconnect! Losing flexibility is no excuse not to come back to yoga 😏

After 7 long months I am super excited to announce I am returning to teaching yoga at the JCC SF! Starting this Saturday I'll be teaching an all levels class weekly from 12-1:30p.m. The difficulty will be somewhere between the intermediate and basic classes I used to teach there. Suitable for any of my past students. Classes are held in Kanbar Hall on the first floor. It is a big room and there will be 12 feet distance between you and anyone else. Masks required throughout class. You will need to bring your own mat. No props provided but you are welcome to bring your own. Sharing with you my minimum daily requirement for sanity during the era of Covid-19:
Do this 5 minute breathing practice twice a day.
-Once in the morning *before* you check news or look at a device, eat or drink.
-Do it again in the evening before you go to bed and commit to no devices afterwards.
*Once you're able to drop in comfortably add on another 5-10 mins of meditation at the end if you can working up to a 10-15 min practice twice a day. This simple practice can help ward off depression and change your life.

I'm sorry I've been so quiet since my classes were all cancelled.I know we're all going through a lot right now, each in our own ways. I've been working on my video skills and trying to pivot to online classes. More coming very soon including tools to stay sane!
