Big win for the Bulldogs with a score of 1157 in their semifinal match against Parkview this afternoon. Top scores were Madison Kennedy - 296, Natalie Jadol - 292, Gabe Pinter - 285, and Pouriya Mosayebi - 284. Natalie's score was a personal best! We are so proud of this team for their improvement throughout the season. Their hard work is taking the Bulldogs back to the state championship for the third year in a row.
We celebrated at the Pickle Barrel thanks to Mr. Terry Schubert's generosity. Go Dogs!!

Congratulations Madison Kennedy! Madison shot an automatic qualifying score of 579 in smallbore at the Georgia State Junior Olympic match to advance to the Junior Olympic National Championships. Competitors shooting a 575 or higher in smallbore automatically qualify to compete in the National Championships. Madison also earned the SILVER MEDAL for the Georgia Junior Olympic Championships! This is the second year in a row Madison qualified to compete in smallbore at the National Championships. Madison also received an invitation to the air rifle championships. Competitors who shoot a 580 or higher in air automatically qualify to compete. Madison shot a 579 in air and received an invitation to compete in the National Championships for the third year in a row. Way to go Madison!!

Congratulations Natalie Jadol! Natalie received an invitation to compete at the Junior Olympic National Championships in air rifle. Natalie shot a 560 in the state qualifier match. The cut score for air rifle competitors 14 years old and under was 559. Way to go Natalie!

GMC Prep Rifle moves closer to the GHSA State Championship with a win over Shaw High School this afternoon. Top shooters were Madison Kennedy, Natalie Jadol, Pouriya Mosayebi, and Gabe Pinter. The Bulldogs will compete in the state semifinal match next week.

As part of our celebration for our two seniors LTG Caldwell presented them with his President's challenge coin. In return Madison and Pouriya presented him with a team jersey. Congratulations Seniors!!

We celebrated our Seniors -Madison Kennedy and Pouriya Mosayebi at our last match of the season. We are so proud of both of you and thankful for your leadership. LTG Caldwell - President of GMC, LTC Deason - Assistant Principal, and MAJ Grodecki - Athletic Director all came to support our seniors. MAJ Grodecki presented Madison and Pouriya a challenge coin in recognition of their dedication to the GMC rifle team. Thank you to the Blizzards who helped us celebrate with cake and refreshments and the Jadols who provided pizza.

GMC Prep Rifle finishes the regular season 11-0 with a win over Apalachee County High School this evening to become Area 4 Champions. State playoffs next week!! Top shooters were Madison Kennedy - 297, Natalie Jadol - 289, Pouriya Mosayebi - 285, Gabe Pinter - 283, and Jonathan Flanders - 279.

The rifle team moves to 10-0 for the season with a win against Laney High School. Top shooters were Madison Kennedy - 295, Pouriya Mosayebi - 282, Natalie Jadol - 280, Gabe Pinter - 276, and Daniel Briehl - 272. GMC Prep faces Appalachee High School this Wednesday for the final regular season match of the GHSA season.
