GCSU Volleyball Alumni

Hello GCSU Volleyball Alumni!
My name is Abigail King and I recently took over at the Head Volleyball Coach in August. Before coming to GCSU I coached in the Conference Carolinas for 4 years: 1 year at King University and 3 at Lees-McRae College. I played collegiately at Columbus State (when it had a program) and then finished my career at Mars Hill.
We had a successful season this year, with having the best start in history with a 8-0 start to our season. We have a strong recruiting class coming in this year which will help us start to build on the foundation and hopefully help to continue the success that GCSU has had in the past.
I wanted to start this group as as a way for us all to connect, share about experiences (writing, photos, etc.), for you all to stay up to date with GCSU Volleyball, and to be able to schedule Alumni events as well. This being said, I am working on putting together an alumni weekend for this upcoming Fall for you all to be able to come back and see a match, maybe do an alumni game, and just get to connect. I will reach back out on dates. Please feel free to invite other alumni to join the page as well! We want everyone who played and graduated from GCSU to be a part f this!

Also, if anyone would be interested in doing a zoom call with the team, or in coming on campus to meet with them, to share your experiences that would be awesome! I want the girls to be able to hear from those who have had this experience and what it truly meant to them.
