OUR CAR FINALLY MADE IT! You can not imagine how excited I am to see the car on the event shirt! It's never looked so good! 😊

Heading to the body shop on Monday to determine the best plan with regard to the quarter panel. Otherwise, replaced the engine brackets and Installed the new Black Halo Racing engine mounts. Replaced the power steering rack as well as the headlights since the drivers side was damaged. Now the low and high beams work very nicely. Longest part was making a new rear window with the straps. Still need to make vent and pressure slots in the lexan. Everything back together and I look like I got into a fight with a cat...all scratched and cut to hell.

Little bit of bent metal, but a strong support group makes it possible to be ready for the next race.

Testing at Watkins Glen with my new RacingBrake calipers and the XR2 Pads on our RX8. This is in preparation for the VIRginia International Raceway American Endurance Racing RaceTreads.com double 8 hr race on May 30th and 31st.

Took the car out for a good shake down prepping for the RaceTreads.com American Endurance Racing at VIRginia International Raceway race.

Spent about a good hour circulating around Watkins Glen.

Have to relearn the car now with the new RacingBrake setup using Cobalt Racing Brakes which were simply amazing! The was absolutely spectacular mated to the Series 2 RX8 transmission. It's a proper race shifter that provides positive feedback and is almost impossible to miss a gear.

Overall the car was solid...Still some things to workout, but overall happy.
