And that’s a wrap on our 2026 Moto Season🏁

It’s sad to see it come to an end, this year was humbling for the Mac Harguth Racing Fam.

We watched our 6 now 7 year old go from a mid-pack rider to a podium finisher. It didn’t come easy, and some weekends were harder than others. #85 showed grit, determination, and growth in all areas of the sport.🖤

We learned what it’s like to show sportsmanship even when it hurts, how to create really good friends with your opponents, and that it’s okay to celebrate when you tried your hardest. We do have to work on the big emotions of losing… and that will come with time 🤪

2027 is going to be a big year of learning and growth. Mac is officially hanging up his E-Bike and is going to be strictly riding gas bikes in our next adventure of the sport. He’s ready, he’s determined and we are so excited! 🏍️🎉

As the season comes to and end we have a lot of great things to celebrate, our official year end results are telling of his hard work!🔥

BCMX 70s series:
🥈Mini-E 4-6: 2nd place overall in the series
🏅50cc Open 4-8: 6th place overall in the series

Spring Creek Motocross Park FXR Super series:
🥈Mini-E 4-6: 2nd place overall in the series
🏅50cc Open 4-8: 14th place overall in the series

District 23:
Mini-E 4-6: 5th place overall out of 74 registered racers for the season
50cc Open 4-8: 35th place overall out of 116 registered racers for the season

We will be off to the banquets to collect some trophies for these great results in the coming months. But we aren’t ready to put the bikes away quite yet! We have a few more race weekends in MN, and we are going to get plenty of seat time in on new bikes this winter and do some traveling! 🏆

A busy Labor Day weekend for the #85 at Spring Creek Motocross Park for RD 9 & 10 of the FXR Super Series.

He started off the weekend with a bang at the Hardy Concert with Mama, and his Auntie and Cousins. 🤠🎤

Saturday, we were up and at it to head to the track and see Dad and our Moto Crew. 🤘🏽

Saturday was warm, but Mac managed to lay down some great laps and times at practice. There were some track changes this week that were fun to learn and navigate through, he finished the day optimistic for racing Sunday and Monday. ☀️

▫️Sunday, there was stacked gates, 2 division drops and some rough riding.

4-8 Open: There was 2 divisions of 17 & 18 kids. Mac was in the 1st division and needed to make the top 16 to get a main spot on the gate for the 2nd moto. He managed to make a main gate pick and raced hard. He went 12-24 for an overall 25th place finish.

Mini-E 4-6: Started at the back of the pack, pushing hard to get to the top 3 and crashed passing another rider while gunning for 3rd place, it was a bummer, but also a good learning experience. He went 6-3 for an overall 4th place finish.

▫️Monday, I'll be honest it was a rough day, for Mac, Mom and Dad... Learning lessons for all of us.

4-8 Open: Another stacked gate, 31 kids and he got to race this class with his best buddy. He went 21-23 for an overall 24th place finish.

Mini-E 4-6: Honestly, this one is hard to write about.. Mac just didn't show up to perform the way he is capable of and it was really discouraging as parents. We know what he can do, and today he didnt do it. He went 8-7 for an overall 8th place finish. This marks the highest finish for the season... Not the results you hope for at the end of a season.

We all have hard days, but as parents you expect your racer to push themselves to be better every chance they get. Zach, Mac and I each had time to reflect on our emotions, and feelings from the weekend and all agreed that we have to push each other to be the best versions of ourselves. As a Moto Family, we all need to encourage each other to push, be good sports, and understand we can't win them all.. but we can push to be the best we can and know that giving up isn't an option.. even when those losses hurt. 🙌🏼

🥈Mac was officially bumped to 2nd place for the FXR Super Series, with one race remaining for the 2026 series, we are hoping for a strong finish for the season with some extra practice time with dad.

He has truly pushed himself this season, we have witnessed tremendous growth and determination and for that we are so proud of him. 🤘🏽

Late post from Rd 6 of the BCMX 70s series, and Premier Race #1 of the 2026 season.

Great days, beautiful weather, and the best company!

Saturday was busy, 85 laid down a lot of laps, and his bikes 2 times. He had a couple of nice crashes that left him feeling upset but he got back up and didn’t quit.

Sunday was busy, he rode back to back motos, and pushed himself!

4-8 Open: The gate was stacked with 33 riders, some of the fastest kids in the state and some great competition. Overall he went 21-20 for an overall 19th place finish. We’ve had a lot of growth in this class this season, and we cannot wait to see how he continues to progress.

4-6 E-Bike: Mac was up against a couple of his biggest competitors at one track, which doesn’t happen often for him. He pushed and pushed but just couldn’t get himself into a top 3 position. Overall he went 4-5 for an overall 4th place finish.

The 70s series came to a close at BCMX this weekend and we are pretty proud of Mac’s official places in the series. 2nd place Champ in E-Bike and 6th place Champ in 4-8 Open! We will head to that banquet a little later this year 🤘🏽

Mac had another awesome weekend rippin’ his Dirt Bikes at Spring Creek Motocross Park for Rd #8 of the Super Series!

He laid down some solid sessions Saturday for practice. Then headed to the creek to swim and race a duck for the duck race! He wasn’t so lucky at the duck race… but better luck next time! 🦆

Sunday was race day and a tough one at that!

🏅50 Open 4-8: The class was the biggest of the season. They had to break it into 2 divisions, Mac was in division 2 and took 10th the first heat, he moved into the second heat with a 20th gate pick. His start wasn’t great, and headed into to the race mid-pack, making moves where he could. He finished the day 10-18 for an Overall 17th place finish.

🥉Mini-E 4-6: Another rough start off the gate, he went into the first turn 3rd from last out of 28 kids moto 1. He was able to work his way to 5th place by the end of lap one, and continued to push forward, finishing 2nd. Moto 2, was another poor start, but got in the mix and sat in 4th place and working up to 3rd. There was some lap traffic that kept him busy trying to get the pass but couldn’t reach it. #85 finished the day 2-3 for an overall 3rd place.

As a parent you always want your rider to push and try their hardest. Mac was pushing and trying to get to the top but just didn’t have it this weekend. I’ll be honest it was frustrating and hard to watch, and honestly we didn’t want to hear excuses, but how we can do better next time. There is a constant push and pull, as a parent of an athlete and we have to remember that we are all learning and growing together… meaning mom and dad too! We will get there 🤪

Overall we are so proud of this little dude, his determination and drive to be better (even though his podium interview says he’s not changing anything🤣)

Race weekend #5 of the BCMX 70’s series!

The weekend was BEAUTIFUL, our Moto Crew was all together, and everyone rode their hearts out.

Saturday, Mac practiced hard. We saw great improvements on a few things dad has been working on with him!

Sunday, we were back at it bright and early! #85 had his race day fuel, a chocolate long John and went out and crushed it. This was some of the best riding we have seen at this track all year. We are proud! 🤘🏽

🏅4-8 Open: 8-8 for an overall 8th place out of 19 kiddos!
🥇Mini E 4-6: 2-1 for an overall 1st place out of 13 riders!

Pro Nationals week at Spring Creek Motocross Park was nothing short of amazing and exhausting!

Sun, fun, dirtbikes, friend and everything in between our crew lived it up🤘🏽

Mac Practiced Thursday, it was freaking hotter than heck out there but he showed up and looked clean on both bikes!

Friday, he rode RD 6 of the FXR Super Series. Gates were packed and he rode hard!
🏅50 Open 4-8: 19-17 for an Overall 20th place
🥈E-Bike 4-6: 2-2 for an Overall 2nd place

Saturday, was Pro Day and it was the best as always. Mac’s mission was to get to the podium for a ch*****ne shower after the 450s. Mom got it done and he got the shower he was hopping for… he even made it on TV for a quick second! 😝

Sunday, he rode again for RD 7 of the FXR Super Series. Gates were packed again, but he showed up and looked great.
🏅50 Open 4-8: 18-20 for an Overall 18th place
🥈E-Bike 4-6: 2-2 for an Overall 2nd place

🥇Mac continues to hold on to the number 1 spot in the championship for 4-6 E-Bike and we cannot wait to see what he can continue to do over the next several race weekends!🤘🏽

We are back home for rest & relaxation was the perfect end to the greatest week of summer. I continue to be Thankful, Grateful & Blessed for the life we get to live. 🖤

#85 is headed into a big week! 🏁

We got to start it out with being a part of the Mazzepa Days parade with one of Mac’s lead sponsors Next Level Excavating & Contracting! Bikes were loaded in the truck and he was throwing out all the goodies!

Next stop Pro Nationals Spring Creek Motocross Park for the next week! He will ride Friday and Sunday for two more races of the series, and Saturday a day of watching the pros! He’s already betting on whose going to win, and wants to be front of the podium for a ch*****ne shower 🤣

We cannot wait to see all of our moto friends and family, have some fun and watch the dirt bikes rip!! Check back for updates of the best week of the year🏁

Another awesome weekend spent at our favorite place Spring Creek Motocross Park with our moto crew!

On Sunday, the mini track announcer made a comment that has been on my mind since, “I’ve been apart of a lot of sports, but there is no sport like motocross where everyone shows up and is a family.” & that couldn’t be more true! 🖤

#85 showed up and did his thanggg! Awesome practices Saturday, one tip over and he busted open his scabbed knee from a golf course spill last weekend, but we got him cleaned up and back out he went.

Sunday was awesome! We had some special guests at the track to cheer on Mac! He rode hard and was determined to take home another top 3 position.

🏅Open 4-8 he went 11-13 for an overall 11th place. Zach said he has shaved off another 5 seconds per lap over the last couple of weeks!

🥇 Mini E 4-6 he went 1-1 for an overall 1st place. He pushed hard moto 1 taking a good lead on 2nd and 3rd. Moto 2 he was sitting in 2nd place until 1st went down in a pretty devistating crash, allowing him to gain the lead for the last 1 1/2 laps. His riding was awesome, but as a mom the thing that stood out to me was his sportsmanship, he got off the track and immediately wanted to check in on the rider who went down and to tell him he did a great job. We’re so proud to see him doing this because even though they ride individually they learn to care for, cheer on and support other riders!

Overall it was another wonderful weekend!

We hit BCMX for another weekend of racing with #85! 🏁

Saturday practice was an absolutely beautiful day. It was full of great riding, friends, family, laughs and memories! Mac rode great, dad told him he was “hauling the mail” 🤣🙈

Sunday was an early morning that turned in to the perfect day with family, friends and our moto crew! Mac rode awesome, overcoming his hesitation after his crash a couple of weeks ago. He looked phenomenal and was proud of himself after each moto! 🤘🏽

🏅4-8 Open: 15-10 for an overall 11th place. We continue to stress to him it’s a year of growing and learning on his gas bike and every race he is showing continued improvement!

🥈4-6 E-Bike: 2-2 for an over all 2nd place. We’re so proud of his continued effort and want to keep pushing to be a champion on this class!
