Registration is coming a little earlier this year for Milton Monsters Wrestling, so make sure you have September 14 marked on your calendar!

Registration for the 2026/2027 season will open on the morning of September 14 and close November 1. This year, everything will be handled through PlayMetrics. (EVEN REGISTRATION) When registration opens on September 14, we will share the link you need to get your account set up and complete registration.

Cost will remain $75 this season and includes your wrestler’s practice season, club sponsored clinics, plus a club t-shirt!

Milton Monsters Wrestling Club is open to boys and girls in Pre K through 8th grade. Our season generally runs from November through February or March, depending on age, experience level, and how far your wrestler chooses to continue into the season.

Please keep in mind that tournaments and other optional events are generally self paid unless otherwise specified. Families can choose which additional opportunities make the most sense for their wrestler throughout the season. Please make note that we do not require the purchase of a USA wrestling membership, however certain tournaments do and that is up to each family to decide what they choose to do in addition to Monster sponsored events.

And I have to give a HUGE thank you to Katie Babcock, who has been working incredibly hard behind the scenes to make the move to PlayMetrics and this year’s registration process as simple and smooth as possible for everyone. There has been a lot of work going into getting everything ready, and we appreciate her so much!

🤼‍♂️ MONDAY MEMORIES 🤼‍♂️

The day before the kids head back to school feels like the perfect time for a little walk down memory lane… and a chance to recognize the men who spend so much of their time helping shape our wrestlers today.

Before they were COACH, they were the kid on the mat.

They were the ones learning how to get back up after a loss. Learning discipline. Learning that hard work matters. Learning how to push through when they were tired, frustrated, nervous or ready to quit.

And somewhere along the way, they had coaches who believed in them too.

Today, each of these men has a life outside of the wrestling room. They have families. Careers. Responsibilities. Places they need to be and people who count on them.

And still… they make time for our kids.
That means something.

I (Tiereny) get the chance to listen to these guys talk about our wrestlers, their potential and more!

I hear how much they care about them, how badly they want them to succeed IN LIFE not just on the mat, and how much thought goes into teaching them more than just wrestling.

Because to our coaches, wrestling has never been JUST a sport. They believe wrestling helps build better people.

And I believe that too.

Discipline. Accountability. Confidence.
Humility.
Mental toughness. Respect.
Learning how to win with grace and how to lose without giving up. Learning that the work you put in when nobody is watching eventually shows when everybody is.

Those lessons follow you long after your wrestling shoes are packed away.

Our coaches understand that because they lived it themselves.

They remember what their coaches meant to them. They remember the lessons, the practices, the tournaments, the hard days and the people who helped shape the men they eventually became.

And now they get to be that person for somebody else’s kid.

So today, enjoy a little glimpse back at our coaches when THEY were the wrestlers on the mat.

A snippet of where it started.

A look at some of the experiences that helped make these guys who they are today.

And most importantly, a huge THANK YOU to the coaches who continue giving back to the sport that gave so much to them.

You never really know which practice, conversation, pep talk or moment a kid will remember twenty years from now.

But our coaches know firsthand that sometimes… you remember your wrestling coach forever. ❤️🤼‍♂️

Here’s to the men (women too but we do not have a female coach just yet) who once wore the singlet and now stand in the corner.

Thank you, Coaches. Our kids are lucky to have you.

🚨 OPEN MAT TIME CHANGE! 🚨

Just a quick heads up for any local 2nd - 8th grade wrestlers and families!
Our Monday, August 24th Open Mat has a new time:
❌ 5:00 to 6:30 PM
✅ NEW TIME: 5:30 to 7:00 PM
Everything else stays the same!
📍 Milton High School Wrestling Room
🤼 2nd Grade through 8th Grade
Come get some extra mat time, put in the work, and sharpen those skills! See you Monday! 💪❤️🖤

We hope everyone had a great 4th of July and is taking it easy today! We wanted to come onto this platform and say thank you so much to all who helped make the parade event what it was! We had some amazing volunteers step up to create a fun experience and we had a community that saw the awesome work and fun and voted for our float to win 🏆 1st place for Peoples Choice!

We wanted to take a moment to thank all that came out and all that took the time to text in their vote! You’re votes made this happen for us thank you!

See you next year Milton 4th of July! We can’t wait!

We had a blast today! What a nice day to celebrate 250 years of America! We are so blessed to be part of this community and this country! We hope today is filled with family, memories, friends and fun. Thank you to all who joined us, thank you to the Kerl family, and the Babcock family for all you did to make this parade float possible! Thank you to the Board and the volunteers that helped keep the kids safe and the float in order today! We want to do a gigantic shout out to so many that donated candy to help make sure these kids were able to toss candy to the community during the entire parade! Thank you to Culligan Water for donating water bottles the the float for the kids to keep cool! We are thankful we can count on you all for this each year!
