How do I stay on top of my own fitness? Here is one of the efficient and low bandwidth ways I stay strong and lean. I let someone else train me!

Is this cheating?! Let me know

Do you want a coach who just talks the talk, or a real person who walks the walk?

When a private health club closes and members are absorbed into a large corporate gym, the transition often looks smoother on paper than it feels in real life.

At first, everything seems similar enough. But over time, the differences show up: more crowds at peak hours, harder-to-access equipment, less consistent staff, and a generally more “shared system” feeling to training.

Corporate gyms are built for scale. That can mean efficiency, but it also often means less space, less continuity, and fewer personal connections.

A smaller, family-owned gym is a different experience. Fewer members means less congestion, more predictable training windows, and a quieter environment. Coaching and staff relationships tend to be more stable, and the atmosphere is usually more personal and grounded.

For many people coming out of a private club setting, that kind of space feels less like an adjustment and more like coming back to something familiar. Drop a comment or a private message if Sweeney's Gym could be your new home-gym

Do NOT try to hire me to paint your kitchen!!

But I’m willing to help pamper my second “home” away from home to get it ready for our 20th anniversary party on May 9th!

“WOW! What can’t she do?!”

Come train where the staff are part of the family 🏠

Iron sharpens iron!

Just wrapped an intense upper-body session with my long time friend and gym owner Michael Sweeney. He brought heavy-hitting intensity to fry our arms, and I finished the session by leading us through the core and mobility work that keeps a high-performance body from breaking down.

In my practice, I’ve found that the strongest people in the room are often the ones struggling most with "the little things". Hip impingement, nerve feedback, or post-injury/surgical stiffness. You don't have to choose between being strong and moving well. You just need a trainer who understands the mechanics of both.

Currently taking on two new 1-on-1 clients in Milwaukee for post-rehab and longevity coaching. DM for a consultation.
