The teams that win aren’t just showing up on league night — they’re staying connected in between.
The group chat.
The practice racks.
Checking in when someone’s off their game.
That’s where chemistry is built. That’s where trust forms. When you know your teammates outside the match, you play looser, smarter, and more confident at the table. You communicate better, support harder, and handle pressure like a unit — not a lineup of individuals.
Strong teams don’t just share scoresheets.
They share momentum.
If you want to compete, connect.
If you want to outperform, build the bond!!!

🎱 League PSA: Show up for your team (they need you).
Pool league works best when players are actually… there 😅
Attendance isn’t just a rule thing—it’s how teams stay competitive and leagues stay healthy.
Here’s the quick rundown:
Matches can be played up to two weeks behind the scheduled date (see Milwaukee APA Bylaws → Section 2: Local League Play → Rescheduling Matches).
Opposing teams are encouraged to help with makeups when possible—this supports the league and our local host locations.
Scoresheets are released a week in advance, so if you already know you’ll be out, you’ve got time to plan a makeup.
The full session schedule is available from Week 1, but early weeks (especially the first 4) can shift as teams are added or dropped.
Your responsibility:
Be available for your team on your scheduled night whenever possible. Life happens—we get it—but communication matters.
📲 Best practice:
Text the league office if you’re scheduling a makeup. Early heads-ups = smoother solutions.
⚠️ Real talk (RESPECTFULLY):
Egregious makeup volume, chronic unavailability on scheduled nights, or any attempt to game the system will be closely reviewed. That can mean sportsmanship violations, loss of points, or removal from league if needed.
We’re here for fun, competition, and community—not chaos.
Show up. Communicate. Support each other.
Your team (and your league) will thank you.

For all the future players who say to us or to themselves, “I’m not good enough for league.”
Hold my hand when I say this: 🫱🏻🫲🏼 you absolute-freakin-lutely are.
The end of the year makes us compare ourselves to others, but remember this 🤍 #mentalhealth #selfgrowth #relatablecontent
