We are proud to highlight two Reagan student-athletes for earning the John Zussman baseball and softball scholarship award: Brandon Silva-Tripoli and Tessa Balestrieri-Michalski! The scholarship honors John Zussman, the founder of the Knothole Club, whose legacy and lifelong love of recreation continues today through ongoing support of Milwaukee Public Schools student-athletes. Silva-Tripoli and Balestrieri-Michalski were recognized at a Milwaukee Brewers game earlier this month, alongside Milwaukee City Conference Commissioner of Athletics & Academics Matt Goodwin and Zussman's daughter Ann Lederman.
Both Reagan baseball and softball won the Milwaukee City Conference this past spring. Silva-Tripoli was honored as a 2026 first-team all-conference selection, and Balestrieri-Michalski earned 2026 second-team all-conference honors.
Congrats to both on an outstanding season 🏆⚾🥎.
