Founded in 1996, the Chicago Salmon play a vintage style of base ball dating back to 1858.
The Salmon have a roster consisting of players from around the Chicagoland area, and play matches against other area teams at the Historic Methodist Campground in Des Plaines, IL, as well as Lincoln Park, and other area fields. The Salmon also “barnstorm” on the road to places such as Central Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. On Saturday, June 6th, the Salmon are swimming to the Kosciusko Country Fairgrounds in Warsaw, IN for a round robin tournament with the Elkhart County Railroaders and Hamtramck Hussars. The first match begins at 10:00am EST.

Due to excessive flooding, our Opening Day match against the Deep River Grinders has moved! This Sunday, May 3rd, the match will be at 1:00pm in Lincoln Park in Chicago, IL. The field is right by the Chicago History Museum. We hope to see you there! ⚾😁
