Top scorers from the Open Division will face off in an exciting Finals Competition on June 13th during the Adventure Rock Block Party — a perfect way to celebrate your sends and the start of summer.

Hangboards are one of the most important tools in climbing training. This work is designed to help climbers understand the best way to use it in their training. We will cover using it to warm up, gain strength, generate power, and latching speed.

CROW VARIATIONS WORKSHOP

Tired of the same old crow?

Come experiment with variations of the classic Crow pose (Bakasana). Aside from playing & gaining deeper understanding of your body's mechanics, learning variations of familiar postures can liven & invigorate your yoga practice, leaning away from stagnation with more variety & challenge in your asana spice rack.

We'll spend our time together warming up amply for a handful of the dozen+ variations possible, exploring the variations, and cooling down the body comfortably into final relaxation. Familiarity with Crow pose is highly recommended but anyone is welcome to come learn & play.

Want to climb outdoors at Devils Lake this season?

Devils Lake Climbing Guides, in partnership with Adventure Rock, is offering an exclusive outdoor rock climbing trip opportunity for Adventure Rock adult members. These are full-day, outdoor top-rope rock climbing trips at Devil’s Lake State Park, fully guided and operated by Devils Lake Climbing Guides, available exclusively for Adventure Rock members ages 18+.

Camping opportunities are also available for those who would like to extend the experience.

Climbing is available Saturday and/or Sunday. 7:30am-2:30pm

Adventure Rock MKE is CLOSED Thursday, April 23 - Saturday, April 25 to host one of our favorite events of the season, the WISCONSIN HIGH SCHOOL CLIMBING LEAGUE - STATE FINALS!

Over the past several months, students have been vying for a spot, with over 300 receiving a State Finals invitation. Join us on Saturday, April 25th as a spectator or volunteer to get in on the State Finals excitement.

Adventure Rock BKF & WKP will keep normal operating hours.

Kids ages 6-11 will practice using the tools of yoga to release some after-school energy while also learning about mindfulness. Each week we’ll build physical skills like stretching, strengthening, flexibility, and balance, while also building social emotional skills like confidence, creativity, and self-regulation. Fun games, activities, and team-building challenges are woven throughout each sequence of yoga poses.

Each kid will receive a day pass to climb before or after class, as well as a day pass for their parent/guardian to climb before/during/after class!

The base of all good climbing is solid technique. In this workshop, our coaches will help finely tune your footwork, positioning, route reading, and other skills to assess and correct your own technique while climbing.
