Then went and got my annual petunias with my Joshy-poo, fusia of course! (My favorite petunia color btw) 🩷
And then got some night crawlers for Turt 🐢

How I really got into fitness… (a story I don’t usually tell)
My fitness journey didn’t start from a perfect place.
It started from a mix of things… some healthy, some not.
Growing up, I was always active. Not in organized sports at first, but I loved being outside, moving, just being a kid.
But like a lot of people, I slowly drifted away from that as I got older.
Everything changed in 2017 when I decided to fully commit.
At 22, I was a junior in college, and from the outside, my life looked amazing.
I had a house, a long-term relationship, a dog, a new car, and I was a college cheerleader. I truly felt like I had it all together.
But life had other plans.
In 2016, I traveled with my team to our first national cheer competition… a huge moment for us.
While I was gone, there was a party at my house, and that’s when everything shifted. My partner at the time was unfaithful.
That moment cracked everything open.
It hurt… but it also forced me to take a hard look at my life.
Who I was. What I wanted. And who I needed to become.
That’s where fitness came in.
At first, if I’m being honest… it wasn’t all for the right reasons.
I compared myself. I felt “less than.” I was overweight and struggling with my confidence, and it got in my head that I had something to prove.
But somewhere along the way… it changed.
Fitness stopped being about proving anything to anyone else.
It became about me.
Taking my power back.
Showing up for myself.
Getting stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically.
That’s the part I haven’t really shared before.
Fitness didn’t just change my body… it helped rebuild me.
And I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one.
I’ve met so many women who’ve gone through something similar and stayed quiet about it because it feels heavy… or even a little shameful.
But your story isn’t something to hide.
I see you. I’ve been there. And you’re not alone 💚
