Hey Hey happy Thursday!

My clients have kicked butt today and I am so proud of them! Something a lot of my clients have been learning is that health and fitness is not all or nothing. We are humans and it’s important that we live life to enjoy it and not just to be perfect- so some days we will eat cookies, or order pizza for dinner. A lot of people struggle with the concept of moderation- that you can eat a cookie or two tonight and it doesn’t mean you have to “restart your diet” next Monday. All small mindful adjustments can improve your health drastically. You don’t have to eat only chicken and rice or exercise 7 days a week to be a healthy human😊 what is a small achievable change that you could start working on right now!?

Happy Thursday pals!

As you know, Thursday is usually B***y class day at MKE Fit! Unfortunately, I will not be holding class anymore. My early morning schedule has filled up, and in order to prioritize my health and sleep, that late night class slot is just too late! To all my religious B***y class attendees- I’m happy to try to find a time in both of our schedules for a session and I will be offering a discount for buddy sessions to keep that class feel and keep price down! Don’t let this stop you from getting the b***y of your dreams! 😂😊

Check out where I started!! It’s never too late to start taking care of your health. It’s such an important component to longevity and a high quality of life as we age. I think a lot of times people neglect to build healthy habits at a young age because they aren’t CURRENTLY facing health issues, but so many future health issues can and should be prevented!

Big Big News! I have officially created my own LLC- Movin with Mads LLC! I have worked with so many fantastic clients in my time personal training so far and I’m pumped to share this passion with many more. Fitness has changed my life and I truly believe that developing healthy lifestyles in others can change theirs as well.

Every macronutrient has a function, and those functions serve important roles in your body. You can’t use protein to build muscle without the energy to sustain the workout from the glycogen in carbs. You can’t train hard and use up that glycogen if a lack of fat in the diet is leading to a weakened immune system!
All macronutrients are important!
Finding the balance that works for you is great, but balance should never mean cutting out an entire macronutrient source of energy!

Would you believe me when i say I’m actually about 20 pounds heavier in the photo on the right!? The scale IS NOT everything, and I know it’s hard to believe it, but it’s true! There is so much more to life, and so much more to health than being the lightest version of you. Now I am nourished, strong, and I have a way better relationship with food than ever before. I am eating enough vegetables, fruit, protein, carbs, and healthy fats to give me lots of energy throughout the day. I’ve also put in hours upon hours of work in the gym between these two photos and even though it takes time, it’s really rewarding to see the effort pay off🤩
