and everyone who has ever been part of this TEaM Is thrilled for as he recently announced he will be joining and Coach Parker Spencer as he starts to write his next chapter as a professional triathlete. It’s been a tremendous honor to have Braxton ( and his family) as part of the Triton family since he was a non draft youth. Braxton’s has had some wonderful people and coaches supporting and guiding him all these years and it’s very exciting to think about what the future has in store for this young man.

to USAT Junior Nationals with our small TEaM. Massive congratulations to finishing his final Junior Nationals with a 3rd place finish earning his spot on USAT’s Junior World Championship team later this year. Big things are on the horizon for this young man! Another big congratulations to for her top 9 finish in a stacked junior woman’s race and a huge shout out to both Wills Gillis and .chesser for top 25 finishes in the junior race.

The past couple of weeks there has been a lot of reflection and reminiscing of where Triton started and the reality things are changing. Triton has been blessed to have had some wonderful young athletes come thru the program and have had some great people and families who have supported our HPT mission all these years. At the end of every season, we cannot express enough gratitude for all the love and support. Thank you!!

Reflecting on last weekend in Pleasant Prairie. Since the very beginning Triton has always be a small draft legal squad. Being a large team was never our goal but learning the skills, doing the work and managing the little details in training and racing allow these young athletes to consistently race big. Big congratulations to for his junior men 2nd place podium performance, to for trying a different race strategy and finishing 4th in the junior woman’s race. Also a shout out to for earning a top 20 finish and .chesser for getting back out there.

Excited to be at the St Anthony’s venue tomorrow for the annual Meek n Mighty prerace clinic. New youth triathletes or youth new to this venue should join USAT Elite Level 3 Coach Jennifer Hutchison for an informative session that will cover all aspects of the MnM event along with some tips to have a safe, fun and fast day.

The Friday 4-26 3pm clinic will take place at Vinoy Park across from the packet pick. Hope to see lots of new faces there. It’s going to be a great weekend for racing!!

The Clermont Challenge draft legal race weekend has always been a fun season opener for our small TEaM. Great job by and in the women’s and men’s NTDR races and to .chesser for taking a break from track training to mix it up with in the Mixed Relay. Gotta say that MTR finish photo is 🙌🏻.

On a very exciting note, TEM juniors Charlotte and Wills will be representing the US as they race with other top US and international juniors at the Americas Triathlon Championship Miami.

Part 3 of Triton Nationals weekend. We were very fortunate to have a special Triton 🔱alumni guest come chat with the TEaM offering some tips to have their best race. Thank you for sharing your time with this crew. Your presence at our team meeting and the fact they all got to watch you slay the PTO US Open race was the 🍒 on top of a great weekend. 🔱

Part 2 of Nationals 2023. Mixed Team Relay!. Total blast to watch and very grateful we were able to put together composite teams with Endorphin Fitness, Swim Like a Pro and Bolt Multisport. Big congratulations to all our Triton athletes who opted to race in the AG Sprint (non draft) National Championship with shout out to Charlotte Joseph for a podium finish!

part 1 of TEM at Nationals. What an interesting year and an interesting change to the Youth/ Junior Nationals race weekend. So proud of all the work these kids put in this year. They overcame challenges and we found creative solutions to training with a very special thanks to two programs ( Multisport Explosion and Swim Like A Pro) who warmly welcomed our Triton crew.
We had 4 new to the Junior ranks athletes racing this season. Each learned a lot this year and all very eager to strive for greater gains next year. We have to give a very special shout out to Charlotte Joseph for a consistent season and earning a podium spot on the Junior Series podium. We are also very proud of our draft legal youth boys and all our youth non draft kids who raced with so much heart. Specials congratulations go to Austin Courson for his silver medal performance and to his little sister who raced BIG earning the gold and top step of the podium. All of this would not be possible without the help and support of the Triton families, friends of Triton and Waterfall Bank. So thank you all for another great season!
