🏆 Tim O’Hare Memorial Cup Champion 🏆
Today we celebrate Roisin, winner of the Tim O’Hare Memorial Cup — an award that honors the legacy of a remarkable dancer and teacher whose impact is still felt. It is a privilege to compete for, and win, something so meaningful.
Thank you to for an exceptional , and to the Mid‑American region for creating this beautiful tribute.
This semester I had the privilege of teaching my largest graded Irish dance class yet at Marquette — 22 students who came in with zero Irish dance experience and the best attitudes. Our whistle music came from Fr. Duns’ beginner tin whistle class, and for their final, the dancers chose their own music and choreographed the entire piece themselves. Some of my kids and Kinsella dancers joined in to support them, which made it even more special.
We filmed on a perfect April afternoon, and watching them dance with such joy reminded me why I love teaching this class so much.
To the 19 students graduating this weekend — congratulations. I’m so proud of you.

The most amazing way to close out Worlds 2026. Music by Roen Fraser, Ryan and Brigid Kinsella-Alba, and Alex Doney. Choreography by Ryan Kinsella-Alba and Liam Alba.
The story of Brigid’s Grandma moving from her home in Ireland to Milwaukee, WI and bringing culture, dance, music and stories with her.
A dance that includes four of the five Kinsella-Alba kids and their uncle Colm spanning two generations.
Ceili Nights at the Crossroads is our story and we were incredibly grateful to perform it so close to home.
Congratulations to the dancers, thank you to the Kinsella teachers, parents, and families that made today possible.
