Yes, today’s announcement from the City of Milwaukee Health Department would allow us to open. No, it’s still not safe to. We value your health, and the health of our employees and community, more than that.

We can’t wait to reopen and to welcome you back, but will wait until we have widespread vaccine usage and a better handle on this pandemic. In the meantime, our building will continue to be used by the amazing folks at Ayuda Mutua MKE to feed folks who need it the most. We will continue to advocate for direct, substantial cash aid to individuals which is not tied to employment or citizenship, for aid to small businesses who are trying to do the right thing for their employees and community, and a fundamental restructuring of the service industry to better meet their needs.
