Join us for a free cyclocross practice for kids of all ages and skill levels. 5pm in Rainbow Park in West Allis. Coach Paul Warloski of Simple Endurance Coaching will be on site to guide some drills, answer questions and get your kids prepared for their first cyclocross race.

Join us for a practice at Nathanael Greene Park in St. Francis this Thursday and get a little preview of the first weekend of the WICX Series () as we explore the grounds of Greene Acres Cyclocross Classic, hosted by Milwaukee Bicycle Co Racing Team ().

We're expecting to drill off-camber uphills, mounts and dismounts, riding through sand and other basic cyclocross skills with Jon, David and Conner.

Show up any time between 5:30 and 7 and you're sure to learn something.

This week we rode in support of Haylan Engdahl and the Milligan University Cycling Team, who were out on a team training ride when a driver struck 9 of the 11 of them, killing Haylan and Brayden Rogers and hospitalizing 7 others. Haylan came from Kenosha and was a member of Team Wisconsin.

It was heartening to see the number of people who showed up to this ride of silence in the face of this tragedy.

The mysteries of cyclocross will be clarified by Ben, Kerri and Mike at Doyne Park on Thursday, August 27. Bring a bike, a helmet and a good attitude and we'll help you get prepared for the first race of the season. All ages and skill levels welcome. Questions? Just ask!
