Did you know? The Dredged Material Management Facility will hold the equivalent of 13 football fields, 5 stories high of contaminated sediment. Join us for a one-mile walking tour on Wednesday, September 24 at 5:00 PM to learn more and see construction progress. Tours leave every 20 minutes until 6:00 PM.

A Little Bit of Ship 299 History on Display -

A small part of Ship 299's history is on display at the Rogers Street Fishing Village Museum in Two Rivers, WI. Ship 299's former life boat/"whale boat" is on permanent display there as part of the Museum's life boat exhibit. Although the whale boat hasnt been part of Ship 299's fleet for a number of years now, it played a big part in many of the Ship's pre-1980s adventures and is still fondly remembered.

Sailing merit badge course starts tonight. We have 24 signed up for it. Bring warmer clothes as it’s going to be cooler on the lake!
