🌷🚲 Happy Mother’s Day from Olympic Supply 🚲🌷
Piper (you met her in the last video) recently completed a very official “All About Mom” questionnaire.
When asked what Mom does at work, her answer was simple:“Putting stickers on boxes.” 📦😂
And honestly, when you ask a 5-year-old who occasionally hangs out at the warehouse after school… that probably does seem like the entire job description. Especially since she also sees Mom spending a lot of time helping Dad.
The funny thing about small business life is that kids don’t see titles or job descriptions — they just see everyone jumping in wherever needed. One minute it’s labels on boxes, the next it’s answering phones, helping customers, solving problems, and somehow keeping the wheels turning. 🚴
Piper’s mom would also like everyone to know that she can, in fact, cook very well. She just happens to be negotiating daily with an extremely picky tiny food critic. 🍗😂
To all the moms and mother figures helping keep families, businesses, and everyday chaos rolling along — we appreciate you. ❤️
Happy Mother’s Day from the Olympic crew! 🌸

Hi there. It’s Laney. 🐾
Yes, that Laney. Warehouse Supervisor. Helmet Authority. Spring Season Control Officer. (titles self-assigned, obviously)
Things are MOVING today.
The warehouse is hopping like someone left the gate open. Bikes in. Bikes out. Humans running around like they forgot how shifting works. Forklifts absolutely refusing to stay in one lane.
Spring in the bicycle business has officially hit full gear. 🚲
And just so you know…
📦 the helmet shipment has arrived.
Yes. THOSE helmets. Some of them. THE ones you’ve all been asking for. Yes, I saw them. Yes, I supervised the process (loosely, from a very important nap nearby). I heard Steve say more are coming soon so I’ll be more involved in the next container… maybe.
We’ve got stock rolling in, orders flying out, and me personally making sure nothing goes off the rails… or the spokes.
So if you’re stopping in, expect:
helmets
bikes
chaos
and me, checking everything like I own the place (I do)
Spring is here. The wheels are turning. And I am very busy. 🐾🚲 PS - that Bike in the box next to me is my Cousin Cooper’s new bike… shhhh don’t tell him. He’s 5

Next week, we’ll pick a few lucky ones for a little treat from Olympic Supply. Yeah, we’re in Milwaukee, WI… but you definitely know someone who knows someone 👀
🚨 NOW HIRING (yes, really… this isn’t a drill) 🚨
Do you enjoy long walks… through a warehouse?
Do you find peace in the aggressive symphony of tape spinning off the roll?
Do you believe bikes deserve better than sitting in boxes forever?
Perfect. You might be our kind of person.
Olympic Supply is looking for someone who can:
• Lift things heavier than your last bad decision
• Tell the difference between “ships today” and “should’ve shipped yesterday”
• Handle bikes, boxes, and mild chaos with equal confidence
• Bring at least some personality (sarcasm encouraged, honestly)
We’re a small team moving a whole lot of product across the country—so yes, you’ll be busy. No, you won’t be bored. Ever.
🚲 Help us keep the wheels turning (literally).

Bad news:
❄️ There’s snow here in Milwaukee. Somewhere between 8-12 inches (which, to be fair, is nothing compared to what’s happening north of here).
🚛 A semi driver got stuck at the dock.
🧹 It took six guys and a heroic amount of shoveling to get him out.
📦 Some of our shipping partners are closed today. - This could delay your shipment by a day
🧒 The office currently contains tiny humans because school’s out.
Good news:
Olympic Supply is still receiving product… which means somewhere out there, spring still exists and is supposed to be arriving officially this week... we'll see. 🚲🌷
As a nationwide distributor, we know not all of our shops are dealing with the same winter chaos we are today — but we truly appreciate your patience while we work through it safely. Up here in the Midwest, sometimes Mother Nature reminds us who’s in charge.
We’ll keep things moving as best we can… just at a slightly more “winter gear” pace today. 🚲❄️

Three generations of Gonius (two pictured) and part of the OSCO crew are here today. Stop by and say hi! 🚲

We’re upgrading our suspension.
Not the forks.
The dock.
New dock leveler is being installed as we speak (huge thanks to our friends at Klatt Equipment) and the warehouse team is acting like we just landed a shipment of unobtanium drivetrains.
No more sketchy roll-ins.
No more surprise drops.
No more “that landing felt personal” moments.
Does this really only affect the warehouse?
Yes. Deeply. Emotionally.
Will you notice?
Not directly.
But smoother dock transitions = smoother trailer loads = smoother shipments = your bikes arriving like they’ve got a tailwind and perfect cadence.
It’s basically a tune-up for the building.
And around here, everything rolls downhill to you — in the best way possible. 🚲
