If you are Masters polo player in Milwaukee, check out Brew City Water Polo Club on Facebook! They are Milwaukee’s only masters polo team! They practice at the Schroeder YMCA and have their first practice of the summer scheduled for July 27th!

The highest finish in team history. 4th place belongs to Milwaukee.

Milwaukee wins their group with a huge win over #4 seed University of Minnesota (13-9) and a win against Western Illinois University(19-9). We play #1 seed Harper College at 6pm in the Semi Finals, if #5 seed Milwaukee can beat the #1 seed it would mean the first Championship appearance in team history.

Meet Water Polo Club Officer Jon McWhirter.

Jon is an intern this summer at the architecture firm, Perspective Design in Milwaukee.

“Internship is really and understatement. I work on everything from preliminary design to construction documents. I take on tasks from co-workers who need additional help with something that I can take off their load of work. Last few weeks I had gone from taking on small tasks, to becoming the soul designer from preliminary to construction”

“My favorite experience is fully understanding the requirements that come with projects making it towards the construction phase.” said, McWhirter.

We are so proud of Jon for achieving his goals outside of the pool this summer!

Rob was a constant staple at our tournaments, along with reffing our games he was a constant reminder of good sportsmanship and a great example for young members of the water polo community. Rest In Peace, Rob.

Milwaukee Water Polo finished the year at the ACWPL Championships in Des Moines, IA this past weekend. Milwaukee went 1-2 on the weekend with two close losses one against Mizzou, a tough 2 goal loss, and one against Kansas. Milwaukee finished the tournament with an impressive win against Oklahoma State Univerity, putting up 20 goals in the process on the way to a come from behind 20-8 win. Milwaukee once again proves that age is just a number and in its 3rd semester ever as a club, it comes in 7th place out of 12 teams, a huge accomplishment from a dedicated group of individuals. The future looks very bright.

Milwaukee Kicks off their Spring Season in a week against Harper College, the University of Iowa, Western Illinois University and the University of Minnesota-Duluth at Western Illinois University!

Milwaukee Secured 6th place overall out of 15 teams in the ACWPL this semester. Going into the final day of competition on Championship Weekend, Milwaukee Secured a win in the 6th place game over Big Ten opponent Nebraska. In the clubs 2nd ever semester the team has managed to snag some big wins and finish in the top half of their league.
