MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT: GAVIN PARKER vs AVERY HURTS!

There is going to be a LOT of championship gold represented when two of the Midwest’s rising stars collide at Showcase of Champions XI!

On one side is Gavin Parker, who enters September 25th carrying an impressive collection of championships across multiple promotions.

Parker currently reigns as the Destination 6 Midwest Champion and Destination 6 Express Champion. He is also one-half of both the Eminent Wrestling Alliance Unified Tag Team Champions and River City Championship Wrestling Tag Team Champions alongside Asher Kade—who Legacy Pro fans know as one-half of the reigning Legacy Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions.

But Parker will have his hands full with the man standing across from him.

The “Iced-Out Knockout” Avery Hurts has spent his first four years in professional wrestling building an impressive championship résumé of his own. Trained by Cody Hawk, Hurts has competed across more than 13 states and has already captured championship gold in multiple promotions.

Currently reigning as the New Edge Pro Elevation Champion and Wrestling For A Cure Cruiserweight Champion, Hurts has also held the Wrestle Arts Triple Threat, Cincinnati Wrestling Cruiserweight, WFW Tag Team, 4Ever Pro Junior Heavyweight, JICW Openweight, and Battle on the Border Zero Gravity Championships.

Between Parker and Hurts, six current championships will be represented in this one-on-one matchup. When two competitors carrying this much gold meet, bragging rights mean everything.

There’s history between these two teams, and at Showcase of Champions XI, they run it back with the Legacy Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championships ON THE LINE!

Money Miguel & Asher Kade currently sit atop the Legacy Pro tag team division after defeating The Brotherhood of Wrestling to capture the championships. Now, “The Sensational” Devin August & Redus “The Body” Atlas get their opportunity to reclaim the gold and remind everyone why the Brotherhood has been such a dominant presence throughout Legacy Pro history.

And when it comes to the Next Generation Championship, few competitors understand Legacy Pro history better than August and Atlas.

“The Sensational” Devin August was the inaugural Legacy Pro Next Generation Champion and held the championship for the second-longest reign in company history. The only man to hold it longer? His own Brotherhood partner, Redus Atlas, a multiple-time Next Generation Champion who owns the record for the longest reign in the championship’s history.

Both men are also former Legacy Pro Tag Team Champions, making the Brotherhood one of the most experienced and decorated combinations the current champions could face.

But Miguel & Kade have no intention of giving back what they fought to earn.

“The Puerto Rican Sweetheart” Money Miguel has captured championships throughout the Midwest, including becoming the first-ever House of Headlocks Social Media Champion, while Asher Kade has become a championship collector despite making his professional debut less than two years ago. In addition to holding Legacy Pro gold with Miguel, Kade currently holds the EWA Unified Tag Team Championship and RCCW Tag Team Championship alongside Gavin Parker.

The Brotherhood wants revenge.

At Showcase of Champions XI, two highly accomplished competitors collide when Matt “The Money” Cage goes one-on-one with “The Unholy One” Shawn Priest!

Representing BLK XLNS, Cage enters Legacy Pro Wrestling as the reigning ZERO1 USA World Junior Heavyweight Champion with a résumé filled with victories over some of professional wrestling’s most recognizable names. Chris Hero, Mustafa Ali, Chris Sabin, Johnny Gargano, Zach Gowen, Ricochet, and Buff Bagwell have all fallen to “The Money” during his decorated career.

But if Cage thinks his championship pedigree will intimidate Shawn Priest, he may want to take another look at the man standing across the ring.

Hailing from the Island of Togo, standing 5’9” and weighing 250 pounds, “The Unholy One” was trained by B**r City Bruiser and at the Nightmare Factory. While Priest may not currently carry championship gold, he has accumulated plenty of it throughout his career.

Priest is a former POWW Entertainment Heavyweight Champion, POWW Tag Team Champion, two-time BCW Heavyweight Champion, three-time BCW Tag Team Champion, two-time BCW Heritage Champion, ACW Tag Team Champion, and RCCW Tag Team Champion.

And Legacy Pro fans already know exactly what Priest is capable of.

He is a two-time Legacy Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion and three-time Legacy Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champion, making him one of the most decorated former champions in Legacy Pro history.

Cage brings championship gold and a résumé filled with victories over internationally recognized competition.

Champion vs. Champion takes center stage at Showcase of Champions XI!

“The Marvelous” Ethen Matthews steps into the ring carrying not one, but TWO championships, as the reigning Under The Lights Entertainment (UTL) Lights Out Champion and Frozen Tundra Wrestling (FTW) 151 Champion. Standing across from him will be a man who has been collecting championship gold for more than two decades—the newly crowned and inaugural Rapid Fire Wrestling Champion, Jack Spade!

Standing 5’11” and 340 pounds, Spade made his professional wrestling debut in December 2003 and has amassed an extensive championship résumé across the Midwest. He has captured Heavyweight, Tag Team, Cruiserweight, and X-Division gold across numerous promotions, including SSW, SWE, FusionPro, ROW, REWF, MIAW, RCCW, ZOWA Live, and HWE.

And now he has added another championship to the collection.

Spade recently became the inaugural Rapid Fire Wrestling Champion, defeating Devin August and Johnny CK in controversial fashion. But instead of celebrating the historic championship with the fans, Spade refused to even show them the newly crowned title.

So now there’s another question surrounding this matchup:

Will Jack Spade finally reveal the Rapid Fire Wrestling Championship at Showcase of Champions XI?

But Spade isn’t the only champion entering this fight.

From Green Bay, Wisconsin, standing 6’1” and weighing 206 pounds, “The Marvelous” Ethen Matthews arrives representing two different promotions as champion. With the UTL Lights Out Championship and FTW 151 Championship already in his possession, Matthews has an opportunity to make an even bigger statement by defeating a competitor with more than two decades of experience.

Between them, three championships will be represented in one match.

At Showcase of Champions XI, Shane Coltrain goes one-on-one with the reigning SCW Southland Genesis Champion, “The Elite Warrior” DaCobra!

With more than 25 years of professional wrestling experience, DaCobra has seen just about everything this business can throw at him. Known as both “The Elite Warrior” and “The Strike King,” his devastating combination of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows has made him one of the most dangerous strikers in the Midwest. In 2025, DaCobra added one of the biggest victories of his career when he stepped into the ring with ECW legend Rhino and walked away victorious.

Across the ring will be Shane Coltrain, a competitor with only a few years in professional wrestling—but one who has already accomplished something that can never be taken away from him.

Shane Coltrain is the inaugural House of Headlocks Champion.

Coltrain made history by becoming the first man to hold the HOH Championship, establishing himself as one of the promotion’s top competitors early in his career. Now he faces a completely different test: more than two decades of experience standing across the ring from him.
