Hmmmmm May 15, 2021 and Peggie and I are completely done with 3144 W Greenfield - hard to swallow or believe that it is over!! We appreciate all of your support and you were not just customers - you were friends...I am posting this pic of me doing a "half hitch" on our Reinke Bro. vise - my father LeRoy - brother Richard - and me (Bob) taught many of you since 1950 how to finish off your fly, jig, bucktail etc.....if it wasn't for our passion to embrace your passion this "hobby" of ours would not have survived....there have been so many people that come in the store that I "could write a book" but I have never looked at it in that way -- it was fun and now I hope you all have fun pursuing your hobby/passion - please stay in touch and share your pics -- Bob and Peggie Reinke

Good day to all - it's April 29th and for the first time in many many years there is no sign at 3144 W. Greenfield Avenue!! The sign will "live on" in the Mequon location of St. Paul Fish - big thanks to Patrick for taking the sign and putting up at this location!! Thanks Adam Levin for "hooking us up" with Patrick and Mike Johnson from PM Sign -- it was a very weird feeling when we went down to the shop yesterday and there was no sign - Ugh/cry!! Anyhow, thanks again to all of you and keep making those great lures and flies that you enjoy using and sharing, it was always fun to talk and share with you all -- Bob and Peggie

Good morning, it's Thursday Jan. 28th - as many of you know, Reinke Brothers carried many items that other stores/web sites don't have - so with the help of Becky & Mike Smith we have been moving hooks and other items to their shop!! Their store is Dick Smith's and it is in the "smiley barn" on Hwy. 83 off of I-94.....our family connections go back to our fathers when Dick Smith and his fishing partner were coming into the store in the late 1960's and 70's!! These are "good people" and I would recommend getting in touch with them for your fishing needs...take care, Bob & Peggie

Hi it's Monday, January 18th, as many of you know - Peggie had hand surgery last Friday. So, I just wanted to update you. I've included 3 pics. First one is Peg in her outer space looking heated blanket staying nice and warm before surgery. #2 is day 1 after surgery and #3 is today - still painful and swollen but she is making progress, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers and for checking in, Bob and Peggie
