FREE Pilates Mat class TOMORROW (Tuesday) at 9am at Embody Yoga.
I was wondering why our attendance for this class was SO low 🤔 As it turns out, we priced it wrong when we added the class in our booking system 🤦🏾♀️ We were unintentionally charging our Reformer Pilates class rate ($28), instead of our yoga/Pilates mat rate of $15.
Honest mistake but y’all were CLEARLY letting me know y’all not paying dang near $30 for a mat class 😂 Good to know!
Anyways, to make things right, tomorrow’s Pilates Mat class is now FREE for whoever can make it. Pre-registration is still required, you just won’t be prompted for payment. Again, this is only for THIS Tuesday at 9am.
You do not need experience. We’re willing to work with all. We also provide mats and all props needed for practice. All you have to do is sign up (🔗in bio) and show up!

I’M EXCITED!!!
Tomorrow kicks off our morning Pilates class schedule!!!
For me, this is BIGGER than just adding a few more classes to the schedule. It’s seeing if we can grow our community and this business. It’s seeing if we can make better use of our studio space by using it for more than just night and weekend classes. It’s a chance to see if we can keep up with/compete with some of the larger Pilates studio brands that have this part of the market(folks with daytime availability) on lock.
I believe in Embody Yoga and what we bring to the wellness space in only the way we can.
And so it begins….

Monday, 9am-Reformer Pilates with Joanna
Tuesday, 9am-Pilates Mat (unheated) with Joanna
Wednesday, 9am-Reformer Pilates with Zuri
Thursday, 5:30am-Hot Pilates Mat with Joanna
Thursday, 9am-Reformer Pilates:Abs & B***y with Joanna
Beginners are welcome in all classes. Pre-registration is required.
Mat classes are $15.
Reformer classes are $28.

Our morning Pilates classes launch next week!
I did my best to set this schedule in a way that would give you the best of what EY has to offer on the Pilates side:
•Mondays, 9am: Reformer Pilates with Joanna
•Tuesdays, 9am: Pilates Mat (unheated) with Joanna
•Wednesdays, 9am: Reformer Pilates with Zuri
•Thursdays, 9am: Reformer Pilates: Abs & B***y with Joanna
I especially want to point out the Pilates Mat class. I know we LOVE reformer Pilates but we NEED the mat too. It’s the very foundation of the Pilates system and helps us develop alot of strength and control as well.
All of these 9am classes are open to students of ALL levels (including beginners).

A class is the morning on a WEEKDAY???!!! 😲
Historically, we’ve kept most of our classes in the evenings and on weekends because that’s when it seems y’all are most available.
However, when we receive feedback/requests-we do consider!
That is why we are now offering a Reformer Pilates class on Wednesday mornings at 8:30am. This class officially begins THIS Wednesday.
This class is open to new AND experienced students. During class, we’ll offer modifications (for when you need to bring the intensity down a bit) and challenges (for when you need to turn the intensity up). That way, everybody gets what they need.
As with all of our other Reformer Pilates classes, you can expect exercises that strengthen your shoulders, biceps, triceps, abs, glutes, hamstrings and quads as well as exercises that improve posture and promote flexibility.
