The 2025 marathon season is coming to an end and we have two RunFitters who are closing it out with a BANG! Please join us in celebrating Heather and Emily who threw down on their respective races and earned those blingy medals! π
π
First up, Heather took to the hilly roads of Madison and came within minutes of her marathon PR just a few short weeks after completing the hot and windy Lakefront Marathon in October! Heatherβs resilience is something to behold and we are so proud she represents RunFit with her dedication and commitment to the training process. Congratulations HCE! ππ»
Next up is Emily who just joined the 1% of people in the world who can call themselves a Marathoner! Emily completed Every Womanβs Marathon in Arizona on Sunday, finishing well under her goal time and looking like she could have kept going. Emilyβs goal was to finish healthy and strong and she did that and so much more. Her distance running game is badass, just like her! Congratulations EP!!! πͺπ»
If you are looking for a coach to help you achieve a running goal in 2026, now is the time to reach out to us at RunFit and set up your complimentary consultation. We look forward to celebrating our runners and racers next year! ππ»ππ»

There is something magical about running your first 26.2 race and officially becoming a Marathoner! ππ»π₯Ή
This Medal Monday, we celebrate a very special member of RunFit, Jessica R., who took to the streets of Chicago and finished a MAJOR for her first marathon!
Jessica is a talented jiujitsu athlete, and turned her attention to endurance running this year. She committed to the long, hot miles that Wisconsin dealt her, and earned that beautiful medal! π₯
Please join us in congratulating Jessica and the many members of the buenatierrarunclub who crushed the race! ππ»π«Άπ»

Here in the Midwest, we train through the hot and humid days of summer for marathons that take place in the cool crisp days of fall. But this year Wisconsin did Wisconsin things and threw an 80 degree day at the Lakefront Marathon racers. π₯βοΈβοΈ
Coach Karen could NOT be MORE proud of the RunFitters who took to the hills of the lakefront, south shore, and Hoan Bridge, faced the heat head on, and finished STRONG!!! Please join me in celebrating our incredible athletes on this Medal Monday! π₯
Heather completed the full 26.2 after a wildly successful training season. She came down the finishing chute looking like she was running the first mile of her race. Heather is a hard worker, the epitome of determination, and humble as they come. Congratulations HCE!!! ππ»ππ»
Allie L., Stacey G. , Ren G., Taylor K., and Katelyn B. all smashed the Half Marathon course! Wind and heat be damned, they looked fresh as daisies at the finish. So many goals were accomplished today including a new personal best for Allie and Katelyn. π«Άπ»ππ»
Coach Karen is beaming with pride and gratitude to have had the opportunity to partner with these incredible people who happen to be incredible athletes. Congratulations Team! Youβve earned your recovery! β€οΈβπ©Ή

Today we celebrate three AMAZING athletes who did more than just compete in a few races- they showed up in BIG ways!
First, congratulations to Jon B who, along with his team, tackled the rugged trails of Nine Mile Forest, covering a total distance of 117 miles in the Ragnar Trail Wisconsin Team Race! The team ran night and day, and deserve the sense of pride they undoubtedly gained! Congrats to Jon who trained hard this spring and summer!
Second, we have two RunFitters who took part in the BMW Berlin Marathon!
Mylah R beat the heat and took home a HUGE PR! She worked HARD this summer- through the heat and humidity and never wavered in her dedication.
Dr. Patrycja not only finished with a blazing time, but she was at the right water station at the right time and helped to save the life of a fellow runner who experienced a medical emergency. Mind blown π€―. Thank God for her!
Congratulations to Jon, Mylah, and Patrycja. You represent the very best of our community! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

You have met our Fish in Chief, Dan M in past posts, and itβs time to celebrate him again! Dan participated in the 2025 Big Shoulders Swim in the chilly, open waters of Lake Michigan and crushed the 2.5K distance alongside his high school swimming teammates! Dan trained hard for this one, and it paid off in spades! π
π
Please join us in congratulation Dan on this huge accomplishment, and while your at it, give a shout out to his wife, Leslie, who did an outstanding job dressing up his post-race muscle fatigue chartπͺπ»π

World, allow us to introduce you to Logan Goodman, the newest addition to Team RunFit! π€π»
Logan is a member of Marquette University Cross Country and Track & Field teams and is pursuing his Bachelorβs Degree in Exercise Physiology and Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. He firmly believes that anyone can improve at running with commitment and consistency, a belief backed by his own journey, as he went from never running more than a mile in his life to a 15:11 5K in 5 years. π
Logan works with RunFit clients who are looking to improve their overall health and fitness with running, and those who are seeking to gain a competitive edge on race day. If you are looking to build speed this fall (Iβm talking to all the Cross Country runners out there!!) be sure to contact us at RunFit for your chance to work with this super star! π

Why just run a road race when you can Swim, Bike and Run?? πββοΈ π΄ββοΈ πWe have a few clients who have been throwing down in the triathlon space and we want to shower them with the praise they deserve!
First, congratulations to Shelly G who finished her first ever Half Ironman at the Lake Country Triathlon! Shelly trained HARD for this event, WHILE maintaining a streak of running a half marathon every weekend! She is a warrior and has earned some much deserved recovery time!
Second, congratulations to our Fish in Chief, Dan M who competed in the Menβs Open Water Swim as part of the USA National Triathlon Championships! Open water swimming is no joke, but choosing to swim against the waves and currents of Lake Michigan takes GUTS!
Finally, major props to Stephanie G who finished the Door County Half Ironman, just after being sidelined with a broken rib for the better part of 4 months! Stephanie put her head down and powered through like the champion she is!
Please join us in congratulating Shelly, Dan and Stephanie!! Amazing job! ππ»ππ»ππ»
