Our Dinosaur workshop isn’t the only thing happening next week! In addition to our 20th annual beginner, intermediate and advanced summer workshops, we are dropping a limited Technique and Strength summer series.
With classes running 3 days a week from June 22nd-July 10th, we’re providing the opportunity for all dancers to stay involved and active while enjoying their summer break.
Ages 8-12 will be from 4:00-5:30pm and ages 13-18 5:30-7:00pm.

Year 19 is drawing to a close, and I am delighted to report that it has been one of our most successful years to date. We have been fortunate to receive numerous opportunities, including being selected as a spotlight studio for Ovation. Being 1 in 505 nationwide and receiving the American Express small business grant for historic downtown small businesses is a truly distinguished honor. Over the past 19 years, our studio has experienced its fair share of challenges and achievements, and this year has been no exception, with God's guidance and provision being evident throughout. The decision to close certain doors last year has proven to be a miracle for growth, propelling us to even greater heights. Our students have had the privilege of learning from some of the most renowned professionals in the industry. We are now upgrading our studio with new Marley floors, mirrors, teacher training, and a future dance scholarship for committed dancers in our community. I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to teach and mentor these exceptional young dancers. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the parents, friends, and loved ones who have supported me throughout this journey. I am also thankful for the experiences and lessons learned from those who are no longer part of our small studio family, as they have ultimately allowed for new and greater opportunities to emerge. To my husband, children, and the entire studio family, I am excited to see what the future holds, as I am confident that many wonderful things are on the horizon for our dance family and the community. Just wait and see! Year 20 here we come!

Out of countless applicants nationwide, our local downtown studio beat incredible odds to secure a $20,000 grant through the highly competitive Amex Shop Small® Grants Program!

Only 505 small businesses across the entire country were selected—and @ is one of just 10 recipients in Texas!

This national recognition from American Express® and Main Street America comes at the perfect time as owner/director Melanie Hierbe Richardson gears up for the studio's 20th anniversary season!

It caps off an already massive year for the studio, which recently added award-winning choreographer Haley Corrigan as Assistant Director, and sent their Jr, Teen, and Sr companies to train with world-renowned choreographers like Derek & Julianne Hough, Dominque Kelley (Beyoncé), and Will Loftis (Wicked).

Melanie plans to use the $20,000 national grant to install professional Marley dance flooring, new mirrors, and advanced training equipment.
