It is with sadness that I pass along the news that our long time bowling friend, MZ. Gloria Paret passed from this earth to her heavenly home on Monday, December 14, 2021. There will not be any services in MW; her cremains will be taken to Louisiana for burial at a later date. Please remember John & Crickett and the rest of Gloria's family in your thoughts and prayers. Gloria's obituary is on the Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner website.

it is with a very sad heart that the news I have to convey today is that Ricky Greene, one of our bowling family members passed away this morning. Please lift his family up in prayer at this time.

Also, please respect their wishes, and hold off calling or texting
as they are grieving and trying to come to terms with it.

BOWL.com | USBC cancels remaining 2020 national events, USBC Collegiate season postponed The USBC has canceled all remaining national events for 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2020-2021 USBC Collegiate season will be postponed until January 2021.

Attention All Bowlers: Bowling will now be allowed at Mountaineer Lanes beginning May 22. Social distancing rules will apply. As a precaution to others, If you have fever or are sick, you are asked to please stay at home.

We are also asking that all bowlers who were bowling when the center closed, to go to Mountaineer Lanes The week of June 1 at their regular time of bowling to receive their league payout money. For instance: if you bowl Monday Morning, be there at 10:00, if you bowl Monday night, be there at 6:30. Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 and Friday Morning 9:30. If you cannot be there, let your league secretary know.

The ladies city tournament bowlers need to be there on Wednesday, June 3 at 6:00 pm to receive their payout money. The banquet money will also be returned, or you can donate the $14.00 to the operating fund. If you can not be there, let Gail or Becky know and we can mail your check.

Hey ladies, the Legion cannot open yet, so we have to cancel the banquet. We are working on a meeting at the bowling alley where we can discuss bowling plans and hand out checks. We will know more after the governor speaks on Monday. We will post an update next week. You can call me if you have questions. Gail 940-328-5229.

The state bowling tournament has been cancelled for 2020. Refunds will be mailed to the team captain within 30 days.

The scheduled start of the 2020 USBC Open Championships and 2020 USBC Women’s Championships will move to September and include a modified format to allow for increased social distancing for competitors.

good morning league bowlers, here's the update, at this time the deal about no more than 10 in any one area and then 6 ft apart has been extended to April 30th, so the bowling alley will remained closed until that time. Hopefully this will not go on much longer. However, no decision about ending the leagues early will be made until after we find out where we are at, at that time. If we do have to end the league early, everyone that has paid weeks in advance will be refunded for those weeks, then everyone will be paid out as normal just like we have done in the past. As we get them, updates will be posted on this site, the Mineral Wells Women's Bowling Alliance site and my own personal page.
