Men over 30 who are in good-shape have a tough time graduating to being in great-shape! 😑

And most of the reason why has to do with the fact that you are not dialing in the smaller details.

Yes, its great that you no longer hit the drive thru 🤜🏽

and yes its great that you'll never go back to your old habits 🤜🏽

But you know that deep down inside you could be doing more.

Deep down inside you still are hesitant about taking off your shirt.

Deep down inside you feel like you're a hypocrite. 🥴

Well the truth is the only way you're gonna go from good to great is by asking yourself the right questions.

And once you see your answers on paper then you'll be able to assess what things need to change.

Don't complicate the process of getting healthy.

9 x out of 10 you already know what to do now all you gotta do is put your foot down and do the work!

Today is the only day that matters.

So jot down them goals and game plan how ur gonna get to the Wellness Bag 🎒 💰

And don’t forget one of the key things missing from your fitness journey is of is assessment.

Never guess, assess 💯✊🏽

You prolly heard that Change is always met with resistance 👀

The bigger the change the bigger the resistance 🤜🏿🤛🏽

So whatever behavior changes you’re trying to implement today … be ready cus ur gonna get tons of push back from your lower-functioning-self.

And if used to be in shape before but now you’re REstarting your journey again then you’re for sure gonna have tons of moments where you tell yourself “I can’t“

I call this “Automatic Thinking” and right now… being as you’re just hoping back into your health your Automatic Thinking is used to holding you back.

It’s time to evolve. 📈

You need to adopt what we call a Growth Mindset which ultimately turns failure into feedback and raises your ability’s to think clarity and apply logic so you no longer punch the f-it button every time you experience emotional disruptions.

The simple fix to this issue is anytime u start to tell yourself “I can’t” you automatically SHUT. THAT. THOUGHT. DOWN. ❌❌❌

Take a deep breath…
Drink a glass of water…
Slap yourself across the face….

Do whatever you gotta do to shift your automatic thinking to that of a growth mindset.

You do that Boom 💥

Before you know it .. it’s like all desires to eat poorly suddenly diminish. All lazy behavior starts to become active behaviors. And if you push through a few consecutive days in a row you’ll finally get over the hump that’s been holding you back and you’ll never wanna go back to being unhealthy ever again.

Here’s 1 mistake busy parents make that keeps them inconsistent and blocks them from getting results ❌

They try to workout later in the day instead of getting it done early in the
AM…

The truth is if you don’t serve YOUR needs before you serve the needs of others then you’ll always operate from a deficit instead of a surplus.

Deficit meaning that your body will be moving around with low to no energy.

Your mind will questioning whether or not you’re gonna follow through on your plan.

And your emotions will be easily swayed, rattled, and wildly unpredictable.

So here’s the quick fix I want you to do starting tomorrow morning. Do this and I guarantee you’ll experience a breakthrough…

So before you wake up the kids… respond to stressful emails… or check social media…

I want you to get your workout done first thing in the morning. ✅

Don’t overthink your workout either. Keep it simple & fun. The goal is to sweat ur ass off and load up on positive energy.

Once your done you’ll be operating on a higher vibration… a surplus of awareness. Ready to handle the workload of life engaging others with a calm body, sound mind, and grateful spirit ✊🏽😤

The reason why the everyday mom & dad struggle with getting back into shape is bc they’ve locked up their high achieving-self and have settled with living in mediocrity 🤷🏽‍♂️

Lemme go a lil deeper…

Remember back in the day when you had more energy, ate less junk, felt more confident and took more action?

You know those “back in the day” moments when you were younger rt? Before you had kids rt?

Well Guess what?

That once upon a time confident, action-driven person still exists inside of you. 💯

And here’s the good news. You still have 24 hr access to that person aaaaand that person is BEGGING for freedom. BEGGING to no longer waste time living in mediocrity.

My question for you is when are you gonna cross that threshold? When are gonna move out of your own way and start living a fulfilled and happy life again?

Cus u already know the truth about time in that…

TIME WAITS ON NO ONE 🕰

The kids are growing up and you keep getting older.
